"Recently changed owners, the new owner seems to want to make some needed updates. It's a really convenient location. We just stopped for water and to dump, but the owner was really nice and only charged $10. The spots are nothing fancy, but if you need a place to overnight, it's conveniently located right on Main Street. And, just down the road is a place to refill propane if needed."
"They have a Genuine Mountain Man full timing it there in a tent. Given it was in the 20's overnight there is no doubt as to being an Authentic Mountain Man. You might ask for a picture with em. Owner was helping foreign tourists figure out there RV when we got there. They lent us a grille to use and the clean site had firewood. The full trash cans were emptied in the AM. Good rate for full RV hook ups. At the end of the day it's a great location to overnight before driving on the scenic road (northbound) in daylight. Phone only (worked good) but very spotty data/texting Verizon. Didn't appear wireless was on or offered. RVing so all other amenities are not reviewed."
"High Country RV was excellent to our weary group of bikers after a long day of mountain roads. Lloyd had no problem with us taking a single site up with our 5 bikes. While the weather for us was nice enough to only set up cots or sleep on the ground it may not be during your stay. The sites are very dusty and if you go left from the main entrance there is deep gravel so be aware. WiFi, laundry, electric and showers made this a great place to recharge and get a good night's sleep."
"This place was great. Clean, hot showers (free). WiFi that actually works. Nice washing machines/dryers ($1.50). Full hook-ups at the site (including sewer and 50amp). The owner is former military and law enforcement. He is super personable. Many sites with shade."
"The RV park has some nice trailer spots with plenty of space and shade from trees and is conveniently located of the main road through Naturita. The Wifi actually worked well and it is kept up and in good condition. The owner was fantastic and helpful in everything we asked. He found us a spot that would fit our 40 foot fifth wheel trailer well when we arrived and helped us get into our spot. On the day we planned to leave we had a problem with our trailer and could not get hitched up. The owner helped us, let us borrow tools, and called nearby business for us. He went way above and beyond for us and we would definitely recommend coming to High Country RV Park."
