Mesa Lakes Lodge 3619 Colorado 65, Mesa, CO 81643

"We (5 ppl) stayed here for 4 nights during my daughters (7yo) Spring Break. There was no communication of what we should do to check in once we got there. During our stay the place was barely open and rarely were any employees around. The parking area and the road to our cabin was not plowed and when we arrived we saw the place for sale. It appeared to us the owners are no longer trying to keep the place up, just keep it going for the sale. Our cabin was heavily neglected and dirty. We found dead insects on window sills, and in the window shelf in the bathroom. The shower basin was not clean and we found dirty dishes (including one bowl with paint remnants in it) in the kitchenette cabinet. Mesa Lakes lodge is a beautiful place with lots of potential but this will likely not be realized unless new owners take it over and refurbish the facilities."

"I have only ate here and used there cross country ski trail system, Both of witch were great. Also one of the only lodging opportunities on the Mesa."

"Beautiful location and kind people. I have never stayed in the cabins, but I love to snowshoe around the lakes and then stop at the lodge for coffee and chilly to warm up after. It's one of my favorite spots in the winter."

"We stopped in at the Lodge for lunch. They had only one server, and she was doing a fantastic job getting orders and serving. She couldn't handle the bussing tables so we and another couple helped bus the tables. It was fun to help her out. The food was okay. We had the bean burger, which was marginal with limited flavor. They were out of the red and green chili, a first choice for my wife. I would still recommend visiting. Limited vegan choices. We just stopped for lunch. We didn't stay in the cabin rooms. They look dated from the outside. The wedding area needs much upgrading."

"I love renting cabins from here. The process is super easy. The lodge offers good food and is a chill atmosphere to relax in. Check in/out process is very easy and fast. We rent a cabin every year. It's kinda become a tradition."
