"To start off no a/c in July and rooms are 78 degrees. Ridiculous took till 2am to get it to 73 with windows open and mosquitoes invading. The bed has no base on the floor 55 years old with bad knees like getting off the floor. High tech is not having Alexa and a ceiling fan."
"This place was awesome! Way better than the pictures. The room was very nice, #1 that is. It had a bedroom, living room area with a Huge bathroom. It looks like they do B&B also, so there are shared areas for entertaining and restrooms."
"Just got back from a 4 night stay here. It wasn't on Google Maps when we booked, which made me a little nervous that it might be a scam, so I just added it as a location to report that it does in fact exist and that the rooms were very nice. We were in Unit #1, which was quite large and clean. It was one of the coziest and well-laid-out non-chain hotel rooms I've stayed in. Walking down the halls, it seemed as though there were ~20 units, though I only saw 4 available for booking online, so I'm not sure if all of the units were part of the hotel. The Benson does feel more like an Airbnb than a hotel since there is no front desk and no one on-site, but we received an email from a representative before check-in with all the info we would need along with local contact numbers should anything come up. There's free street parking ~3 feet from the door, and the keys were waiting in a combination lockbox when we arrived. One of the nicest features was a fairly large fridge in the unit that came in very handy after visiting some of the local breweries directly across the street. This is definitely more of a "self-service" hotel, but as long as you go in knowing that, it has everything you will need. I wouldn't hesitate to go back."
