"We visit Ouray often and loved staying at this spot! We booked the cabin and it was so cozy to stay for a few days! We usually just opt for a hotel room, but really appreciated the extra space and amenities the cabin offered. A huge bonus for how absolutely comfy the bed was. Also great location in town - easy to walk anywhere, including the ice park. The on site host was so friendly and accommodating to any questions and even gave us some extra time to check out when we were running behind after trying to squeeze in a bit of climbing the morning of check out - something we very much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again."
"Love, love, LOVED staying here! The host was super nice and made us feel very welcome. The location was excellent and walking distance to everything in town. Super quiet at night and ample parking for our large truck. We were warm and cozy and stayed for 7 nights. We loved the ability to occasionally make meals in the cabin. They also had a nice Weber grill which we used and a picnic table outside. We were grateful for TV with Hulu and the king sized bed was comfy too. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!"
"We stayed in the Lower King Room and everything was perfect. The unit had everything we needed: fridge, microwave, coffee and even a set of plates and silverware...which we used for dinner leftovers. It was a great extra touch by the hosts. It is located far enough off the main road which is perfect for the serenity of Ouray but close enough to walk to the main road for drinks/food. My wife and I had been traveling for 11 days and ran out of clothes so Molly (one of the hosts) offered to do laundry for us for a very minimal cost. We will 100% stay there again next time we visit."
"Lots of room, great kitchen with a freezer, stove, and good sink. The shower head is high enough for taller people with a higher water pressure. Their wifi is also good. The only problem we had was that the smoke detector was very sensitive. It went off two times when I was cooking. Other than that I'd recommend staying at this place compared to others in the area."
"Our 5-night stay in the upper king room at San Juan Chalet in Ouray was just about perfect. The room has been recently updated, including the bed and bedding. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, mugs and glasses . We traveled with our Goldendoodle and this room afforded plenty of space for us and our large dog. There is a small balcony with limited mountain views, a small yard, picnic table and grill. The location in town is convenient to all shopping and dining. We walked down a block or two to the river each morning, where I had a cup of tea while sitting on a bench listening to the peaceful sounds of the water tumbling over rocks, just a few feet below me. Linda is the manager on site and is such a pleasure to visit with and has a lot of helpful information about local trails. We also enjoyed getting to know Kizzie, the sweet dog on site, who visited with us. We would definitely stay here again!"
