"This is a magnificent B&B, meticulously maintained and spotless! Our hostess/innkeeper Kristin was delightful, personable, and genuine. The breakfasts she made us during our 2 nights stay celebrating my birthday were homemade and utterly delicious! Our room (Captian’s Quarters) was spacious, uber comfortable, and spotless. We had the luxury of our own private balcony, large jacuzzi tub, and wonderful fireplace. We’ve stayed here before, and all room offering are fabulous in their own way. We took advantage of the awesome hot tub twice, even though we’d spent all day at Orvis Hot Springs. The common areas, living room, dining room, upstairs sitting room, are gorgeous! The decour is beautiful and thoughtfully creative. Perfect in every way. The location is perfect, just 1 small block off of the main road, and all of downtown is within easy walking distance. Finally, their prices seem amazingly affordable. Thank you Kristin for making us feel so at home. We are certain to return!"

"This has to be one of, if not the best B&B in Ouray. The space is great, the host is fantastic, and the breakfast was amazing! We came to Ouray on a slow weekend and looked at two other lodging options in the area, before we came here and got a room. When we walked in we could tell that this place had the vibe that we were looking for. There’s a reason for all of the 5 star reviews - this place is great and you won’t regret staying here!"

Linae and Rich, your hosts, are delightful and accommodating and serve a 5 star breakfast. The surroundings are serene yet within walking distance of the town and activities. "My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend here in September! We stayed in the Golden Spur for 4 nights and ABSOLUTELY loved our stay! I loved the decor & spacious rooms! We had a large tub in the room and hot tub on site! The location is perfect- just a block off the Main Street so it’s so close to walk everywhere but still quite just being off. Breakfast was great and the hosts were so sweet! We’d definitely go back and recommend Ouray and the China Clipper in to anyone!"

"My wife and I stayed two nights in the Romance of the Seas suite, and loved it. The room was clean, spacious, comfy bed, a view of the mountains to the south on the deck, where we drank wine in the evening. The jacuzzi was relaxing. We liked that the B&B had a flexible time for breakfast. We could relax and arrive in the dining room when convenient, and tables for two faced a wonderful view as well. Fellow guests were friendly and great for conversation in common areas. I would caution that there is not an elevator, so guests will climb two stairways to most of the rooms. We loved Ouray and hope to stay at China Clipper Inn again."
