"I have taken two certification courses from Acuity (Change Management and Black Belt Six Sigma) and was thoroughly impressed by both. The depth of the instruction is well aligned with the complexity of the concepts and the subject matter. The slides/videos are well designed, not overly worded, and properly explain each term with relevant details. The exercises are properly lined up with the instruction order and allow for the knowledge to seep in. Each module (lesson) is about 30-60 minutes in length, making it easy to work on one (or more) per day depending on your schedule. I followed most of them on my laptop computer but an app is also available (I wouldn't do the quizzes or the exercises there, though...) Acuity offers both printed materials (for an extra fee) or PDFs; this will depend on your own reading style (I chose the PDFs). The exams have different questions than the quizzes, thereby ensuring you truly understand the material. I highly recommend their products, especially as organizations' learning budgets are stagnant and companies instead direct employees to outside vendors."

I found the cost for the online course much more reasonable than other options, and I like the fact that I can take the course at my own pace at home. I thought the course did a good job of helping me understand how to use statistical tools found in SigmaXL that I can now use with my current position.
