"I asked my English teacher for help writing an essay about her liberal agenda and was told to just go to the resource center. I refuse to pay 1200 for an English class they claim is mandatory just for the teacher to be lazy. That is not what I’m paying for especially because the teachers helper is the one doing all the grading. Other than that English class, any math or science class was just a recap of everything they taught you in high school. I will never waste my money on a university again."
"Decided not to attend because I heard bad things about their financial policies. Withdrew from all courses Fall 2023 before classes started. Jan 22nd I get a bill for 2k for classes I never attended, and am told I can "appeal" online via convoluted process. All records of being enrolled or dropping classes have been erased from my student account, so their word is law. I never even signed the financial agreement forms."
"Have to pay them $3k for a class I’m not even taking because I missed a UNKNOWN deadline to drop it by 12 hours in order to get a refund. They have been unsupportive and vague about their answers, and never seem genuine when wanting to help, except for maybe two people I’ve talked to in the last year. Was hung up on, and laughed at by the bookstore workers when all I wanted was to make sure my textbook rentals had made it back and were processed so I wouldn’t get a charge on my card, and even the manager said she didn’t know. Tuition for out-of-state ONLINE students is ridiculously high, and was charged so many little fees that didn’t even apply to me since I’m remote. Had high hopes for this school and was excited to attend. Sad."
"Felt incredibly, not supported as a student. The school does not have enough resources to help its students. I had a couple academic advisors. Tell me that the school has absolutely no money to pay for work study, except for those who have already previously been employed to keep their jobs while, the website you go under student employment has lots of work safety jobs so my question is if you can’t afford to pay your students work study why the hell are you advertising student jobs. When you go down financially to ask about work study, I have a whole Nother process, then what was told to me by an advisor , so nobody knows their heads from the rumps not OK! I never once felt safe on campus. There was homeless people all over outside the buildings and continuously trespassing. And here’s the best part. You have to have at least a D to be passing a class. Why I have no idea last time I was in school. I’m pretty sure D was not passing a class. I had one Schachter has only hours was on a Thursday night at 9 o’clock at night on campus. I’m sorry excuse me Professor but I am a single mom and you got me all screwed up. If you think I’m coming down on campus at 9 o’clock at night because that’s the only time you have made the choice to make yourself available! And again that poses another safety concern about this campus needless to say, I’m pretty angry about my experience here and thankful I only was A student for once semester."
"Best in inclusiveness. Best in STEM and Innovative Programs. Best in Nursing. Best in Individualized degrees! If you want real world education that prepares you for competitive careers, there is no University better in Colorado. IMHO."
