Omni Institute

Omni Institute is a nonprofit social science consultancy located at 899 Logan Street in Denver, Colorado. Our mission is to harness the power of data to accelerate positive social change. We work with local governments, foundations, agencies, and nonprofits to improve health conditions and advance equity in communities. Our focus is on behavioral health, supporting policy makers and practitioners at all levels to prevent, treat, and support recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders with a focus on advancing behavioral health equity. We conduct rigorous research to ensure all individuals have access to essential rights and opportunities to thrive. Our work also includes evaluating reform efforts in the justice system to create a more fair and equitable system for justice-involved populations. Through our capacity building and technical assistance work, we help organizations design systems and practices for sustainable growth and greater impact. Our services include research, evaluation, and capacity-building to achieve meaningful and sustainable impacts that lead to improved social conditions. We also partner with organizations to assess community needs, develop strategic plans, and define logic models and theories of change. Our work spans a wide range of areas, including preventing youth substance use, addressing HIV prevention and care needs, and responding to opioid use disorders.
