"This is an amazing school. The GMP is wonderful community that is great for kids. This is a great school for the west side community and I highly recommend it. Awesome. I still go to this school and i have never seen any bullying."

"Not the best school, it's academia is complete trash. The only reason you'd ever send your child there would be to torture them or for the GMP. Even the Gifted Magnet Program has bad teachers and isn't structured well at all. Mainstream is even worse, with rampant idiots everywhere. EDIT: I attempted to be the most pretensious I could with this review. It's not that bad a school, I just wouldn't advise going there because it's very underfunded. Just a little ways away is Holmes, a school of better funding and education than West. I hope this review helped."

"I've been at this school since the beginning of 7th grade. Since then, I've witnessed two beautiful souls pass away at West, I have been constantly ridiculed and bullied. But that has died down. I dislike some of my teachers. But although I've made some good friends, I'm extremely excited that Its almost the end of middle school for me."

"The classmates and staff treated me with the utmost disrespect I have ever experienced. I recommend not going to this school if your middle school student has autism. The counselors didn't help me when I got bullied, and the students there continued to bully me, because I was autistic or something was wrong with me. Your autistic student will go through the same experience that I had when I went there."
