"This school is the absolute worst. I have been trying to get my child out of here since she stepped foot here. Most of the teachers are amazing but the deans and front office people are an absolute joke. Want someone to stoop down to the level of a pre teen? Just consult the ladies in the front! 90% of these students are under the influence and reek of marijuana; but god forbid my child goes to school with a hoodie that does not have the logo on it."

"Parents do not put your kid/ kids in this place. Not school. The teachers 7th grade English teacher's the "sickly" principal. The "coach that is worried about his hair just walking out on his team. Leaving kids to coach. Each other. Had a strong season just to loose. Unfair uncaring ghetto school im so very sorry my kids had to endure this mess for years. This school goes down in my book as the WORST. PLEASE RE CONSIDER TAKING. YOUR KID TO THIS SCHOOL. KIMBERLY. THE PRINCIPAL REALLY NEEDS TO GET HER SCHOOL TOGETHER. YOU CANT take away my daughter's accomplishments so long to this Hell Hole. We are finished. On to better schools teacher's and principal's. I would not dare have my kids experience their high school years at Mlk"

"This school is amazing believe it or not. This school has definitely gotten me out of my comfort zone to try out new things and to be a better and bolder me. I have learned to advocate for myself. I have also helped other students become more comfortable. Overall this school changes you for the better despite the things that may have been said. You won't love this school until you go hear."
