Reviews
"I had some water damage in my house. Chris and Jackie from ServPro were extremely professional, great communicators, and helped try out the issue within a few days. I was also out of town traveling, and they communicated when they would be at the property, and did a really good job overall with the cleanup. Highly Recommend!"
"ServePro of Denver North saved the day for me after a supply line broke behind my washing machine and flooded the area. They were prompt, professional and treated my home as if it was their own. Highly recommend!"
"Trash company, trash service. Im not sure how they ended up being a preferred contractor with State Farm, but I'd stay away from these people. I dealt with Leslie, who couldn't even be on time to the estimate. She stood around for 15 minutes, snapped some photos, and left. Haven't read from her since and she can't even return a call or text smh."
"We recently discovered water seeping into our basement as a result of faulty installation and lack of drainage on an egress window, and we reached out to ServPro to assess the damage and help with the water mitigation. They responded the same day, and were at our house within an hour, not just assessing the damage but ready to start the work on mitigation. Within HOURS they had removed all the affected carpet and floor boards, installed fans and dehumidifiers, and scheduled asbestos testing and environmental followup that was completed later that day. They've been incredibly responsive and helpful with Adam and Kelton giving me their personal cell phone and going above and beyond to make us feel like they had everything under control. I could not be more satisfied with Kelton and Adam, and I even told them so. In a world where contractors are late, behind, cut corners on the work, or generally apathetic about service, ServPro, and particularly Kelton and Adam, stands out for their service, responsiveness, and professionalism. Use them!"
"Very disappointed. A washing machine break in our second-floor laundry resulted in moderate water damage to walls and floors of our home over Memorial Day weekend. Based on positive Google reviews we called ServPro who, to their credit, promptly dispatched a team the next day (on a holiday weekend). The team was initially very responsive, set up the drying equipment quickly, and was back daily to check on progress the first week. The next week, communication ceased as did visits to check progress. After multiple unreturned calls from our project lead, I had to contact their main office, where Kate was apologetic and helpful and had a new project lead assigned. The new lead was much more responsive and helped close out the mitigation, though ultimately, the drying equipment was running in our house for the better part of three weeks, which seemed excessive (our experience with more extensive water saturation a few years prior only required a week of drying). Our reconstruction required asbestos containment and we hired a company ServPro recommended, who couldn’t fit us into their schedule for about four weeks. Once that was complete, it took several weeks and multiple calls to ServPro to schedule a scope assessment with their reconstruction team. The team lead no-showed on the first appointment, performed the assessment on the second, but then failed to follow up after. After 10 days, I called him and then the office, who eventually apologized and informed me this project lead left the company and didn’t leave notes, so they had to assign another person on their team and gave me his number. Again, lots of calling for updates and ultimately ServPro informed they had no capacity to help with the reconstruction and referred us to a third party. They came for the assessment, but ultimately would not perform the project without further abatement work. Fortunately, by then I’d already contacted two other contractors for alternate bids, and neither of them took issue with the abatement work, and we subsequently had the repair work completed with one of those contractors. In late August, about three weeks after my last communication with ServPro about the contractor referral, I received the first unsolicited communication from ServPro that I’d had since the first week of the water mitigation work: a threat to file a lien. Monica M., with whom I’d never spoken, sent a nasty email indicating my insurance company had sent me payment for the mitigation work and if I didn’t pay asap they would file a lien (the day following the email was the first day they could file a lien in Colorado). To be fair, she was correct - my insurance company (with whom I also bank) had transferred funds for us to pay for the mitigation, though I was not aware, nor was I aware we’d been invoiced (in our prior claim with the same insurance company, they were provided the invoice and paid the mitigation/repair company directly). After a terse exchange in which I admitted fault for not knowing I’d been invoiced or receipt of the funds, Monica accused me of lying. I’m surprised and insulted that she didn’t inquire about payment or place a phone call to inquire, before sending a threatening email and implying that I was not planning to “do the right thing”. Based on the poor service and communication on this project, I shouldn’t be surprised, but I’m certainly disappointed to be treated that way as a customer. I hope to not need mitigation or reconstruction work in the future, but if I do I will not use ServPro, nor will I recommend them. I sincerely hope the issues on our project are directly attributed to the widespread labor challenges in this market, but hope the leadership for ServePro Denver North reads this and understands that at least one customer was treated very poorly and they work to ensure this type of service is an anomaly."
