"I couldn't be happier with this school and the education my son has received. Every single teacher my son has had has been phenomenal. They truly go above and beyond for each student. The principal is thoughtful and gets to know her students. My son is in the CSD program and the director and staff in that program have the needs of their students in mind all the time. It's a wonderful school and I HIGHLY recommend it."
"Teaching at The da Vinci Academy is truly my dream job! I feel fortunate to work with such an amazing staff, at such a beautiful school, where Arts Integration is the approach to learning! Students have so many fabulous learning opportunities through science, technology, music, art, drama and movement! I have seen students thrive, as they find their niche, and gain confidence in their skills. The diverse needs of all learners are met through authentic learning experiences, that engage and excite students! Kids feel comfortable expressing themselves, and working collaboratively with their peers and teachers. They foster friendships and support one another. It has been a pleasure working with so many extraordinary students and their families. There is a sense of community at TdVA, with supportive families, who are always willing to give of their time and resources. I look forward to many more wonderful years!"
"As a parent and staff member at TdVA, I can honestly say this is a wonderful and unique school. My daughter thrives in the Encore classes such as drama and music. Her kindergarten and first-grade teachers are caring and knowledgeable. The school offers a small community feel and makes learning memorable. I highly recommend bringing your child here!"
"The da Vinci Academy teachers, administrators, and staff always put the safety, happiness and growth of the students above all else. Victory Molina is a fine leader, and a kind person. The schools focus in on STEAM integrated curriculum. I would recommend this beautiful school to any family trying to find a new school in Colorado Springs."
"I can’t comment on the food like many of the kids have, but I will say my own daughter hasn’t complained. My daughter is excelling here both academically and socially and it’s backed up by her test scores. She is challenged on a higher level to keep her motivated and I appreciate that extra attention. I have found the teachers to be approachable and actively engaged. The school was built as an open concept school but that’s been scaled back to eliminate distractions and increase security, so classrooms have traditional doors again. It’s one of only a handful of schools with on site YMCA before and aftercare which is great for working parents. The after school enrichment activities could be expanded - there is far More interest that space and sometimes kids don’t get in - that would be my biggest complaint. A core group of parents carry the load for volunteerism but I don’t think that’s unusual - volunteers are always welcome. Teachers change curriculum on the fly to take advantage of unique opportunities when they come up. Kids are encouraged and expected to take personal responsibility. We got into TCA and Monument Academy and chose da Vinci. I am grateful we have such a wonderful neighborhood school."
