"I hate this school. One star does it too much justice. Pick up and drop off is a joke. Staff doesn’t listen to directions for your child. Want to homeschool our child rather than go here. Beware!"

"My son goes to this school, I really like his teachers but really dislike the staff in the office. Last school year there was several incidents I reported to the front desk and asked to speak to the principle every time about a group of black kids that called my kid names and even hit him several times and was told she will let the principle know and I would never receive a call back. One day I get a call from the principle stating that my son is using racial slurs (to some of the kids in the group that keeps harassing him). I definitely had some not so nice words for him because only until my kid started defending himself did it become a problem and according to the principle he had no idea anything was going on basically telling me the secretary never said anything which would explain why I never got a call back or he was just saying that to cover himself. Finally after months of dealing with this issue it stopped after the call from the principle. I have waited to write this review because I wanted to see if anything would get better but it hasn't, no matter how many messages I leave for someone to call me back no one ever does and no matter how many times I call (doesn't matter what time) no one ever picks up! Before this incident last school year I never had a problem with the secretary calling me back or answering the phone for the matter. The few times I've had to go into the school this year, the secretary barely says one word to me now, very childish!"

"Evans is a decent school for my kids. The staff isn't that Friendly though, at least to my experience and that doesn't happen often. It is the only school in my area for my kids to be picked up from the bus, so it is convenient, but the staff could be a bit nicer from what I have experienced."

"Last year my daughter went to a "highly rated school district" in Texas. We had an horrible experience. After moving to Colorado springs we were nervous but, the staff and her teacher has been amazing. I have seen such and improvement and she no longer cries about going to school."

"I went to this school last year, the experience was the best! Wishing I could still be there, because there is the nicest staff around, I don't know about the other elementaries, I suggest going if you get the oppertunity."
