"The service itself was not impressive. Very quick in and out and questioned why they’d do a full body mri on my hand. Didn’t seem to make sense until I got an $800 bill for it. Clearly to make more money. Didn’t send a bill until OVER A YEAR later. Then their payment plan options only allow you to pay the bill within 8 months but they can bill you over a year later. My service was in December of 2022…… I never once received an email with a bill, a phone call or any mail. In January of 2024…. I received a bill in the mail (second week of January) saying this $800 bill is due by January 31st. Unreal! Go elsewhere !"
"Edit- while I would never return to this facility for testing, their area director did call and pull my payments out of collections. That is greatly appreciated, but in no way repairs the damage it could have done to my credit and the horrible experience I had. Our healthcare system is broken, and one person being kind is unexpected but won't fix what as a nation we have to repair. Debt from medical collectors is something we have to endure in this country. It's a horrible side effect of bribed politicians. I was sent here as a referral patient. They sent out very confusing instructions and told me to have 3 hours booked for them. I went in, the procedure took about 15 minutes, and they said they were not even doing all the scans that the doctor ordered, but I was still charged for the three screening. The front desk seemed like they didn't know what was going on and couldn't answer any questions other than take payment. Their ultrasound wasn't successful in getting the proper image and I had to be sent to another professional at rose medical who got the images this place couldn't handle. So paying for a test with 0 results is not something that leaves you feeling like they knew what they were doing. Stuck with a $1000 bill, put in on the website that I wanted to pay installments, which I have been paying, and then get a notice that they sent the edit $186 I still owe to collections. Don't go here!"
"Did not have proper documents for my apt and scrambled 3 days prior to my apt to obtain them. I ended up getting the document from my primary and sending it to them. They call me end of day, the day before my apt stating there is no Dr. Signature on the order that health images ordered in the first place. I was very worried as I could have cancer. Was told I would receive a call back and never got one. 4 months of apts and still no answers and they canceled my apt twice in one week after I obtained needed documents. More time and money wasted as I am also not insured, money out of my own pocket."
"Within the past year, I got two scans done at Health Images, one of them was fine, the other not. The problematic one was done poorly and the radiologist read it incorrectly. Luckily my doctors caught the mistake, but I had to get a second scan done elsewhere at a much higher costs; (you get what you pay for). I subsequently asked for a refund for the improper scan this past June. I was told the request would be reviewed and they would be back in touch. They never responded. So, after several more calls and wasted time on my end, I contacted a manager who requested a load of documentation to prove their scan was incorrect. A month later with the documentation in hand, I went back to the manager, who had (surprise) left the company. A new, much nicer manager, said the documentation was not necessary, and instead she would ask another radiologist to read the scan. She confirmed that Health Images were in the wrong and requested a refund be issued to me in August. Several weeks went by and I had still not received the refund. Every time I called I was told there were processing errors and they also blamed it on the post office, even though the check was coming from Colorado Springs to Denver. I finally received the check at the end of October, 4 months after requesting it, and 2 months after it was authorized. If you are wanting an experience like this, then I highly recommend Health Images. On the other hand, if you don’t, then take your business to the many other, more qualified places around the Denver area. I won’t be giving Health Images any more of my business."
"I was prepared to dislike this place. Really prepared to REALLY dislike it. After all, the reason I was going to them was because my back hurt, and if you can’t be grumpy when your back hurts, then when can you? Also, it is located in Cherry Creek, which can be snobbish and snooty. And it’s in a bank building. Banks, hate ‘em. Well, guess what? They were really nice. Efficient, friendly, polite. The visit went by quickly, and my technician seemed to know exactly what he was doing. The best part was in the waiting room. Okay, yes, they had today’s paper, and a deluxe coffee set-up. What was even better was that they had... cookies! Cookies. How nice."
