Someone always helps me with my concerns and stresses for my pupper, they're available for emergencies, and I always get answers or timely calls back, even after hours and on weekends. These guys treat my pets with the same love and consideration I do, and they always work with me to make sure my pets get the care and/or help they need no matter what. I won't go to another vet as long as I live in the area!!!"

"Caring, compassionate, and competent staff. Established practice for over 20 years. Follow up calls after procedures have been thoughtful and appreciated. Reasonable prices. Very grateful to have Dr. Rose and Dr. Byrd, Stephanie, Heather, Christl and Patty on staff at MVV. Our area needs vets given all the pets needing care in SWCO. A few years ago, my niece was visiting with her 6 mos. old puppy during a weekend. Her dog’s snout was quilled in the forest about an hour from Mancos. It was a Saturday on a holiday weekend. I called EVERYwhere in the more immediate vicinity, but NO one was open. I called MVV and Dr. Rose and Stephanie agreed to come to the office and care for the dog. Dr. Rose quickly pulled all quills in just a few minutes and fortunately the dog didn’t need any other procedures. The cost was very reasonable given the holiday weekend. We were so grateful! "Dr. Rose Bernholtz is the best vet in this area! My 8 week old puppy hurt his leg and I drove him to all the vets in Dolores and Cortez....no one would see him. I stopped and checked on the way to an emergency vet in Durango and, although busy, they made time for my sweet boy. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and compassion and for taking such great care of my furbaby. They have my highest recommendation!"

"They treat me wonderful. I’m a breeder and they always do a great job for me and take time with me and my dogs and puppies. I trust them totally. Dr. Rose, Stephanie and Heather are so great. I got mixed up on my appointment date and went in a day late. They fit me into their schedule. I made them each s homemade loaf of bread, because they deserve it. I can’t remember the owners name, I’ve only had him once, but he treated me very well and gave me a bag of puppy food at no cost."
