"I am grateful for all the care that I have received from Jesse Smith when I have had appointments with Parke Health. He always listens to my concerns and has never been dismissive. Its nice to finally have a doctor I trust and will go to now vs the self diagnosis I have done for the past 10 years."

"Too bad no one actually reads these reviews, but here’s my take anyway. Last three appointments I’ve made for my family, I’m told one time and their reminding system gives me a different time (always off by 15 minutes sometimes sober sometimes later). Here’s the kicker…MY TIME MATTERS. I’m curious if I am behind by 30 minutes or more if they’ll wait on me and still see me? I was EARLY for my appointment. Get back there, see the nurse and the nursing student. Wait for the Dr. 45 minutes AFTER my appointment time, a student Dr walks in. I need to see her (tell my whole story a second time) then see the Dr (tell the whole story for a third time). I’m told the Dr JUST walked into another patients room, therefore we’re looking at a minimum of 20 minutes before she gets to me. That’s makes it more than one hour since my appointment time and I still have to talk to her and see what’s up. I informed the student I would need to reschedule due to needing to be somewhere else. Of course they can’t reschedule me in a timely manner. Earliest I can be seen is ten days out. It’s not my fault they’re running that far behind. Not an I’m sorry, no suggestions on another solution (besides see another provider and with my particular situation, that’s not an option if it’s not an EMERGENCY). I get that things get complicated and they tend to run behind when that happens, but maybe they should book fewer patients and give larger blocks per patient. This is just my biggest complaint. I’d give more, but unfortunately due to the location of this town, the mediocre care is my best option."

"The doctors here can get very busy due to their heavy workload and there are usually pretty long wait times. But, they care so much about their patients and are always friendly. Dr. Perez is our family doctor, and I will never go to anyone else until he stops practicing medicine. He takes time to explain everything he is talking about and will not leave the room until every question you have has been answered. Big health concerns are high priority obviously, but smaller issues seem to be of much less concern than they should be. Takes a very long time to run tests and you have to call to get your results, they don't really call with them like they say they will."

"Dr Perez and Dr Pimental are very good! Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Not always able to schedule an appointment as soon as I would like, but once I have one, I usually don't have to sit in the waiting room too long. Sometimes they're over scheduled and it feels like they are a little too rushed, but usually they take the time to really listen. (Wish Burlington could attract a couple more doctors to lighten their load)"
