"I can't recommend Taylor's Croft as a bagpipe supply/accessory shop. I selected them specifically because they were US-based and relatively close to my location. I selected priority mail because I needed the items for an upcoming event. When my package didn't arrive for a week, I emailed Taylor's Croft asking for tracking information. No reply. The package finally came a few days after that. The package was from Kinnaird Bagpipes in Canada. From the tracking number listed on the package, Taylor's had drop shipped the items straight from Kinnaird in Canada sent by boat (slowest service) from Vancouver to LA and then on to me. The prices I was charged were 50% to 80% more expensive than if I'd just gone straight to Kinnaird's. The whole point of buying US-based is for faster service of in-stock items. I paid priority for snail mail service. If this was a case of items are out of stock, just make that clear that drop-service is an option. In this case, it's clear my money should have gone directly to Kinnaird's or some other US-based company. The only upside is that I did receive my items, at a significant upcharge and a week after I needed them."

"I ordered a kilt for my sister's wedding months ahead of time so that it would arrive on time. A couple weeks before the wedding they still hadn't shipped it. Enter Sharon. She bent over backwards and was literally on the phone in the middle of the night multiple times to get them to ship the kilt. Finally they shipped it, but UPS delivered it to the wrong address. Even though none of this was her fault, Sharon still took a personal interest in making sure that UPS corrected their mistake. She spent time on the phone with them and the business it had mistakenly been delivered to so that the kilt would be delivered to my house on time. The kilt arrived in the nick of time and it looks great! High quality! The best part of the whole experience was the outstanding customer service from Sharon!"
