Reviews
"Man, this place puts all of the civilian grocery stores out of business. The prices, 85 percent of it are much cheaper, the exclusive coupons are better, it's way cleaner, and the atmosphere is unmatched. Whenever I'm in location, it's automatically Ft. Carson, and Paterson AFB is second. Anyone who is eligible, highly recommend!"
"Clean outside and inside. The workers are okay. I've encountered a few with attitudes and unwillingness to assist. The produce section is a hit or miss. Waxy apples. Rotten and / or moldy food is common, unfortunately. The meat section is no different. Oftentimes, I see rotten meat left on the shelves. There have been a number of times that I have smelt it through the packaging when picking up a product that appeared to be safe. I've seen freezer burned shrimp in the freezer aile. You have to pay close attention to what you're purchasing. I'd personally recommend purchasing produce and meat at a different location."
"Always shop here with my mom. Sometimes they are fully in stock and other times completely empty. But other than that no bad experiences grocery shopping wise. However I was not impressed with the sushi stand. All the options I looked at just didn't look appetizing other than the spicy mayo/ loaded dragon rolls. I could tell the fish looked strange but I was hungry and decided to get the best looking one I could find. Anyways I usually get sushi at king soopers which is the only reason I am comparing. When I finally ate it, I just did not appreciate all the fat I was biting into with the Nigri. Idk for being made "fresh" every day I just felt that the fish and the seaweed rapping did not seem fresh to me. Plus the salmon and the tuna rolls were not filled so I felt gypped out of money honestly. It was 15 dollars in total but it wasn't worth it at all."
"Huge Commissary. Super clean and nice but totally different floor plan than most I’m used to. Some variety of items. Super fun Easter display when I went last month. Pretty great prices and stock. Definitely will go back again to see what else I can find."
"Are you looking for a great place to buy food at? What about finding meats and such? How about having plenty of options? Do you enjoy walking around? Then look no further, you've found the place to be at. This was my time in this establishment but it was quite large. That's not a bad thing either. There are so many types of food, you might even get lost inside. If you love sub sandwiches or sushi, you'll love the commissary even more then. I haven't tried the sushi yet but I'm sure it is good nonetheless. I highly recommend you shop at this business. After all, you'll be able to skip out on the taxes and use your Star Card if you have one of those. Either way, enjoy your stay here while you shop!"
