"Very welcoming and informative staff. On two separate occasions last week, one trip to buy an e-bike, and a second for accessories were we warmly greeted, very well informed of options, and thoroughly educated on our selections prior to leaving. Definitely recommend!"
"I’ve been in the local mountain bike community for almost 20 years and have been to every bike shop in the area. Louisville Cyclery is relatively close so I always want to like them but every interaction I’ve ever had with them has been disappointing and extremely aggravating. A few years ago, I was having an issue with my XTR rear derailleur and brought it in for service. Not only could they not resolve the issue, but they charged me to get my bike back. I asked why would they charge me if they hadn’t actually resolved the problem, and the response I got was “you’re lucky we’re only charging you this amount. We spent SO much time researching it!” I took it to Boulder Cycle Sport and they took care of it right then and there and I walked out with a ridable bike. I hadn’t stepped foot back in Louisville Cyclery since then. Until earlier this week. I had a simple warranty claim for a SRAM shifter. They told me to go through the shop where I bought the bike. I asked if they weren’t an authorized SRAM dealer and they said they were but I should really go through the shop where I’d bought the bike. Which is 100% not true. If a shop is an authorized SRAM or Shimano dealer, they can submit warranty claims regardless of where the bike was purchased (presuming the warranty requirements are met.) She then told me that they could definitely sell me a new one which was absolutely infuriating. They didn’t want to spend any time or energy on something that wouldn’t bring them an immediate sale but didn’t hesitate to try and get me to spend money for something that didn’t need replacing in the first place. So I went to the Trek store in Broomfield (old Golden Bear Bikes). I didn’t buy my bike from there either but they submitted a warranty claim with SRAM that day and were absolutely amazing to deal with. I’ve never written a Google review before but I felt I had to communicate how absolutely horrible every experience I’ve ever had with them has been. They’re the worst bike shop in the area and I will never, ever go there again. Save yourself some frustration (and money) and go to the old Golden Bear (now Trek store), Boulder Cycle Sport, or Sports Garage. They will actually care about you."
"Great customer service and friendly people. This is the epitome of your friendly neighborhood bike shop. Great selection of all the bike stuff your family would need."
"Friendly neighborhood bike shop. We scheduled time for a turn up and dropped our bike off a few days prior. They turned it around early for us and the bike is running great and super clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. It’s important to have a bike shop in the neighborhood and I’m happy to support Louisville Cyclery."
