"The store in general has great prices good products. My issue is with the staff. I went shopping yesterday morning to pick up a few things. A phone cord. I walk in and immediately turn towards: the counter, that’s usually where you will find your phone cord. And the one lady asked me all dramatically. ‘“Are you OK?’ of course I didn’t say nothing but I thought to myself. What the hell does this lady think I’m on drugs or What? So I finished my shopping up. and spent $70 I go in this morning and before I go to spend another$60-$100, I’m sitting in the parking lot trying to calculate some things for work, the same two old hens that were working in there yesterday morning come outside For a good 15 minute smoke break. The whole time staring at me talking back-and-forth back-and-forth. Five minutes later I have the Brighton police knocking on my window asking me if everything was OK. Give me a break. ladies.Again the old hens thinking everyone is up to no good. How about the Brighton Police Department? ?thank them all for their service . Wasting their time because two old hands think everybody’s up to no good and they are allowed to judge others, got nothing better to do than smoke cigarettes, and gossip. Telling Police they are concerned for my health. If the y were that concerned, they could’ve walked up to my car and knocked on the windowI Ill leave it at this, I left the store. I did notice t go shopping and I will never step foot in that place again . Nice job ladies."
"It's a weird mashup of reasonably priced dollar tree items and over-priced name brand items, with none of the selection you would hope for. Gift ribbon that is 1.25 at the dollar tree was only 1.00 here. However, Pringles which are on sale next door at Safeway for $1.00/can, are $2.00 here. I went here because its closer to my house. I was looking for disposable food storage containers which I usually get at the Dollar Tree, only to find that they had half of the selection and many of those were not the cheap ones but we $3 or $5. Ultimately It's better to go to dollar tree for a better selection of cheap stuff, or Safeway for the name brand stuff (if you are trying to avoid the giant box stores). I occasionally find some good cheap clothes, and even those are only worth it if they are on clearance since I can get cheaper clothes on Amazon or Temu."
"Well if you read my reviews you will see the majority aren't too good to me, so when a place is pretty good, I definitely want to say. A good review from me is REALLY GOOD. I just tell it like it happens. They're pretty good here. They have kept themselves stocked well with the virus too. I was comfortable with them. They were polite and decent. Prices are fair"
"I always go here and buy things, but after today I don't think that I want to anymore. The two blonde ladies that were in the store today were very rude and disrespectful to their costumers. There was a trans women that was inside the store, and they had the nerve to sit there and make fun of her as she was checking out and using the wrong terms. (Using he instead of she). After the lady left feeling embarrassed, they continue to talk down on this women. You don't treat your costumers like that, regardless if you are against something or not."
"I went in to the store to get a few things today..It was 98 degrees outside so very hot.The front doors of the store were propped open as I walked in I realized the air conditioning was not working as it was about a 110 degrees in the store.I had to cut it short on the shopping because of how hot it was. When I checked out I ask the employee about the air conditioning not working.I was told it went out 70 days ago and the company still hasn't got it repaired.I felt so sorry for the employee's..I can't believe a company like Family Dollar could let this go on this long.Just wanted to say I'm sorry to the employees of this store could be treated this way by Family Dollar..It don't ask much about Family Dollar.. Family Dollar get your a grip on it!!!"
