End result is the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned that still give me complete control. Absolute night and day difference. Jason and Brad are the best!"

"I have had positive experiences here both renting and buying. Had rentals scheduled again from them. Pickup was an absolute disaster - way too many renters, way too little staff. They told people an hour wait, but the reality for us was two hours plus in store. Store manager blames it as “ the busiest day ever”, but when your customer reserves online and pays in advance, there should be zero surprises. Worse yet is that I recommend you to a friend on their first visit to Durango. And they had an equally frustrating and disappointing experience at the south store. Not how anyone wants to spend their vacation. Photo of timer is from the time the first person in our group was fitted for boots to when we walked out of the store. One positive is the staff did have a good attitude. Otherwise, COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE."

"I bought some skis from Bill at the Ski Barn during the Ski Swap in Albuquerque. After the first season we noticed a defect and contacted the ski manufacturer to have it fixed. They referred us back to Ski Barn and to their credit Ski Barn took up the issue with the manufacturer on our behalf and it was resolved to our full satisfaction. Not all retailers demonstrate this level of support and integrity. I highly recommend Ski Barn and greatly appreciate how they helped us get a positive outcome."

We rented skis Christmas day and they didn't open until noon (which was more than fine by us) but they still offered to come meet us before they opened. we waited until noon, got tremendous service fitting, and then they even gave us a refund for a halfday. They went above and beyond and we're beyond grateful."
