Reviews
"This is the very first negative google review I have ever given. I realize that this person may troll this review as he has done to others I have read but I need to make sure no one EVER brings any furniture to this buisness for repair, YOU WILL WASTE YOUR TIME!!! If I could give this buisness negetive stars I would! By far, hands down, the worst buisness practices I have ever experienced in my entire life. My experience: I brought a priceless family heriloom to this buisness July 7, 2023 after speaking with the owner and being told to bring the table in and being assured he could repair my grandmothers table. I explained to the gentleman what this heirloom meant to me and just how very important it was, as it is the only item I have of my family that I grew up never knowing. My grandmother, father, and only aunt died before I ever got a chance to meet or know them. When I say priceless item, I can not state that enough! 3 month later after never having hear a word about my table. I call the owner and inquire about my table. He stated that he had not gotten a chance to begin the repairs as there were a few items ahead of mine. Fair enough. After 4 1/2 months and never having recieved any updates about my grandmothers table, I called again. Left message. NO RESPONSE. A week later. I called again. Left Message. NO RESPONSE. I am really worried at this point. Did the genttleman die? Did the buisness close? OMG what happened?? I am freaking out? I email after doing some research on his website to find a contact email. PLEASE VIEW THIS WEBSITE BEFORE YOU EVER CONTACT THIS BUISNESS!!!! I email. A week later, after having my grandmother's table just past 5 months I get a response. I copied and pasted the owners email here " I got your phone messages, and I was just trying to get some stuff done before I called you back. Sorry it looks like I was ignoring you. Haven't finished with the table yet." The words "haven't finished" are important here, remember those. As this makes me think at this point he is working on my grandmothers table and it is just not finished yet. This seem like progress to me and I have hope. This is 5 days before Christmas, I guess I am feeling the holiday hopeful spirit. The owner has had my grandmother's table for 5 1/2 months at this point. After 6 1/2 months and having not recieved updates about my grandmother's table or a call that he has finished the work, I called again. NO RESPONSE. I send an email. NO RESPONSE, AGAIN! Two weeks later I finally get this buisness to answer the phone. The gentleman tells me.... IT IS NOT FINSIHED BECAUSE HE HAS NOT EVER STARTED TO WORK ON MY GRANDMOTHER'S TABLE!!!! At this point he has had the table 3 days shy of 7 months! I did not want a storage facility for my furniture, I wanted a repair! Which is what he assured me he could do nearly 7 months ago! I call another local buisness and schedule a repair and am assured of a resonable timeframe for the repair and then I go get my table which has never been touched since the day I dropped it off 7 months ago. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY!! ONLY GO TO THIS BUISNESS IF YOU WOULD LIKE A FREE FURNITURE STORAGE FACILITY. That is literally all you will recieve from this buisness."
"Bruce had our furniture for 4 months. We finally called him and he hadn’t started working on it."
"Bruce did a wonderful job replacing the cane seats on some barstools. The cane was surrounded by a mahogany stained wood frame and he had to extract the cane from the frame and then he had to match the color to the cane on the seat backs (which were in good shape so we did not change those."
"Bruce (the owner) really cares about his customers and giving 110% to every repair and finish. These are the reasons his business has thrived for so long."
