"I am going to have to agree with some of the other posts asking for bagel store back! I realize prices are dictated by the price they’re paying for ingredients BUT $3 for a single bagel is absurd. I love supporting local businesses and always go to them first. I went in for the last time on 1/1/23. The crew was not prepared and the customers were hearing that an order for 2 dozen bagels someone ordered was not ready, which they had preordered. Not great to hear this while everyone else was told they’d have to wait 30 minutes for flavors to be ready from the oven. The service there is usually great. The food is always great but now not everything was available. I get you might not have some of the breads, rolls, etc a certain day that’s fine. But if you’re selling bagels then have your flavors ready for any time you’re open. Make extra of your best sellers and for sure the everything style. And don’t charge $3 for a bagel it is offensive, especially when you can only choose from a few types a mostly told to wait for the rest to be baked. I told myself I’m not going back and that’s my plan."
"Convenient location and parking. Customer service was prompt and friendly, and the pick up order was easy to put in online. Delicious bagels -- will definitely be back to try some pastries, too!"
"Bagel is ok and better than average in Denver but it just doesn’t understand the market. Unprepared on a Saturday to have individual plain cream cheese. They gave me two options, pay $7 for a bulk cream cheese container or drive up to the Stanley market location. This was after they were just chit chatting with the previous customer after they had paid. Line was growing and they didn’t care. Won’t be going back."
"Drove all the way here from highlands ranch. They don’t have any coffee or sandwiches. (Which is fine) They we’re out of plain cream cheese on a Sunday morning which is odd…Also, $30 for a dozen bagels is steep! In the lone Tree Highlands Ranch area we have only chains and crave good food! (Often times means we have to drive. ) As a result, I told the person waiting on us we were happy we didn’t have to drive all the way to the Stanley market place. Her response was well we are in five points. I then said I’m in HR. She repeated they are in Five Points. Not sure if she is geographically unaware or thought because I’m a person of color I should drive all the way from Highland Ranch to Five points. Edit 11.9.23 FYI, Highlands Ranch is about 30 minutes south of Denver, so not sure why they keep wanting to inform me where Five Points is. It would take me about 40 minutes in moderate traffic to drive there. Please don’t insult your customers! Anyway. I wish you could give a star for service and star for product. 4 for the bagels 1 for service."
"Recovering New Yorkers here to say that this place is as legit as it gets in Colorado. Their challah is the stuff of dreams and the babka is a delight, but we'll always think of their bagels first and foremost. Nice texture on the outside, great chew inside, never overcooked or doughy. If you're into flavors like everything or poppy seed, you'll appreciate the double coating on the exterior (instead of just on the top like you get pretty much everywhere else in Denver). Do yourself a favor and don't leave without a container of their cream cheese. It will spoil you forever. We're partial to the hatch green chili (with nice big pieces) but you can't go wrong with the veggie and regular fluffy stuff."
