"We’ve come here multiple times and the food is always top notch! I am obsessed with the blackened salmon with Cajun risotto. It has the perfect amount of spice and is savory at the same time. The staff are always attentive and friendly! The owner often checks in to see if everything is to our liking (it always is!!) They frequently have deals and promotions as well!"

"Great neighborhood bar! Food is consistent good, not overpriced, and specials are with it. Can be loud when music playing (why one less star for atmosphere) and when busy (often) the waitstaff must run around (why service's service 4 star. Nice patio for summer and dog friendly."

"Love the happy hour. The bar gets busy and so does the bartender so maybe an extra person during busy times would help. Otherwise the burgers are good, the chili relleno on the happy hour menu is super yummy."

"Went to see a friend play in the band and had dinner. First time there. Kinda hard to find as it’s nestled in with a big apartment complex. Called for reservations and got a great booth right in front of the band which was amazing. Dinner, blackened salmon was perfect. Husband had a juicy burger and crispy fries. Prices were reasonable as well. All in all it was a very nice dinner with a fantastic band. Essence of jazz is their name."
