"I had the shrimp and grits. Being from the Deep South, I'm always skeptical of getting Southern food in other places. I was very impressed with their shrimp and grits. Great flavors, and the grits were very smooth like butter!"
"Came in during Happy Hour on a Friday. We were greeted and seated immediately which was the highlight of the experience, along with a pleasant goodbye at the end. The server was nice but not very attentive. We had chicken sliders that were hard as rocks. Then ordered wings with the sauce on the side. Which was somehow was $2 extra on top of the $48 for 2 dozen wings. $50. They were decent but not worth $50. Not one dirty plate or empty glass was touched during the visit. To give you an idea of how slow the service was, my 87 year old Dad went to the men's room, which was down a flight of stairs, used the facilities and returned in the same amount of time it took for the server to be asked for and drop the check. After another five minutes or so went by until another pleasant server stopped by to process the payment. I left a 15% tip, as a former restaurant manager/bartender of 25 years I think that was the worst tip I've ever left. I didn't see any manager on duty at all to share my experience with. Even when it's slow you have to pay attention. You can do better"
"I came into Denver for a few days and I’ve eaten here now three times… Absolutely amazing atmosphere, service, and food. The happy hour chicken sandwich is the best chicken I’ve had in years, maybe it’s the homemade cheddar biscuits they go in. They have such the perfect atmosphere to hang out and enjoy yourself, happy to have spent so much time in a short amount of time but when you know what you want… Townie IPA is my choice but it’s 2 for 1 on all pints during HH 2 for 10 chx sliders Happy Hour is 4-6 Get you some!"
"Nice chill atmosphere. Service was ok. Food was pretty good. Drink prices a little high compared to other restaurants. 9oz draft for $9!!! I had the veggie hash bowl, Hubby had chicken n waffles. Was the better of the 2 locations of "Post Chicken" I've visited. The bathrooms were super clean. They also had complimentary feminine products & mints for convenience, if necessary. Which is definitely worth mentioning. Sometimes, it's the little touches."
"Edit: Photos form next visit: cauliflower (almost finished, we were hungry and it was perfect!), chicken tenders, biscuits, half chicken. Everything was absolutely amazing. Damn, it's a good spot. There are no photos, but this review will be updated once I have a chance to come back for more. Tried the Chicken Wings, Nashville version - it burned, but damn it should. It was so tasty! The place is very cool and has a lot of gluten free options (and clearly marked, I love you, Denver ❤️), so I'm definitely coming back. Pricing seemed wallet-friendly, too :)"
