"This really is a hidden gem! The best customer service I've ever had! EVER! The gentlemen greeted us and quickly gave us a menu. We ordered 6 pupusas which took some time. We sat down and then he brought us chips and salsa! Without us asking! He offered water and all! It amazed me because it's take out. They had people dining in and still treated us as if we paid for the full service! Just please give this place business! You won't regret it! I am very happy we stumbled upon this place! We WILL BE BACK! OH AND THE FOOD!!!!! OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD!"
"Delicious pupusas! Great service! Full bar. Love the salsa too!"
"After eating here once or twice a week for several years, it’s time to write a review of El Lucero. There are many Mexican restaurants in the area and we’ve tried them all, but none come close to El Lucero. Everything is made fresh, even the beans. The guacamole is the best we’ve ever had. The sopa de pollo is wonderful as are the fajitas. Obviously, we wouldn’t be eating there regularly if it wasn’t. While this restaurant has a very simple atmosphere, staff is super friendly, the food is outstanding and it should be packed every day."
"Had the pollo guisado(chicken stew) & fried plantains. Was a little on the bland side, but still very delicious. I wish it would have had some more flavor and a little bit of spice. Fried plantains were delicious! I loved the sauce that came with them it paired very well. Will absolutely come back again!!"
"Greeted warmly by two big smiles. Nice chips and Spivey salsa while I wait. Full size filled to the rim, smothered with green chili and cheese little lettuce and tomato garnish. Yummy! Eat here. You will not be disappointed."
