Sloan's Lake Tap & Burger

"With "burger" in the name, I was disappointed that there were only four pretty basic burgers on the menu. The Classic Smash burger also known as the Nothing Special burger had way too much red onion. We spotted a better looking burger on a specials card on another table, but decided against it when we saw it was $22!! Service was very disappointing, which is a shame for their 20% service model that is automatically added. We stood waiting for a long time before we were noticed and seated. Server brought our food and stood chit chatting with the other servers and didn't come back to check on us. I finally grabbed the attention of a different server for some salt as there was none on our table and a side of dressing. On a good note, they did have hockey games on the tvs however we won't be returning."

"Very clean with a family friendly, relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the wings with the chili garlic sauce on the side as well as a side of fries. It would be nice though to offer a combo including fries aside from just an order of wings; but not that big of a deal. I was really pleased with the quality and presentation of the food. The fries were killer, the wings were juicy and tender. The meal also came with celery and pretty thick cut carrots. As someone who’s not very into spice, I really enjoyed the chili garlic sauce; the perfect balance of sweet with a hint of spice. Rachel was my server. She was very friendly, attentive, and personable. Once the bill came, she didn’t rush us at all and told us to feel free to take our time. One thing to note is they include 20% gratuity to the bill, which they do state on the menu and are gently reminded of again once the bill arrives. Overall, great place and looking forward to dining there again!!"

"Very chill location to eat. Family friendly. The most amazing burgers! Tried the Black and Bleu, the classic burger, the chicken tenders, and kids quesadilla. We tried the midnight margarita (meh… weird flavor for me), my hubby had an old fashioned and my kids tried the non-alcoholic Basic Batch. Friendly service and clean environment."

"This was an okay pub and bar. Good for watching games. I had the nacho app which was good we got it without meat. The burgers were simply alright nothing to rave about but also not disappointed. The place does come with an automatic 20% gratuity which they mention on the menu and the server also states it which is nice."

"What a fun place to watch the CU vs. TCU game!!! Go CU. It's a win.. Energy was great. The Steakhouse burger was awesome. My husband had the smash burger and said it was good, not great. However, the sweet potato waffle fries were delicious!! Great TVs everywhere to watch sports. We didn't have any beer, but it looks like they have a great selection of tap beers. They add a 20% tip to all tabs, which I am okay with, just letting you know."
