"It's totally fine for a pick-up/food counter type experience. Staff is efficient enough but I probably wouldn't describe them as outright friendly or solicitous. Yummy food. Very popular locally. Smells outrageously good during lunch and dinner. Always a couple of people in line or waiting. Just a counter-style place and some obligatory booths and tables make up a very sparse dine-in experience, wouldn't recommend actually eating here. Also the parking lot is pretty wrecked and potholed. But Denver so. Recommend for local Mexican takeout or delivery, particularly over pricier sit-down options."

"The OG Tamale Kitchen serves up a decent, affordable standard of CO style Mexican food. Their family meals make life easy when you need it. Breakfast burritos are solid as well. The orange chile is def a Denver thing, and their recipe is respectable as are the tamales. Neither will blow you away though."
