"The staff is friendly, rooms are well appointed and clean. Unfortunately, my room was on the west side of the building (Tower Rd) which is heavily traveled at all hours. There is constant noise of cars flying by at high rates of speed. The only thing louder was the air conditioner/fan, which caused an equal amount of sleep disruption. During the day, the noise was fine, but when attempting to rest it was too loud. I’d stay at the hotel again but would ensure I was on the opposite side of the building and hope for better noise control."
"Stayed here for one night after a trip to Aspen since we had red eye flights the next morning. Got in somewhat late due to an accident on the highway on the way back from Aspen and had no problems at check in. The warm cookies are my favorite part of staying at DoubleTrees, with the upgrade technology in the rooms being a close second. The shuttles were pretty full the next morning heading to the airport so we just had a friend drop us off, so if you’re looking to take an airport shuttle make sure you give yourself plenty of time before your flight. Will definitely stay here again."
"Decent stay. I guess it is a three star hotel. I would’ve rather ponied up another hundred bucks for something nicer. There was a very old air conditioner in the room that was quite noisy. I could hear a person above me running back-and-forth in their room at 11 PM which made it difficult to go to sleep. To the staffs credit I called and they quickly sent security up to deal with this person. You do have to pay for parking which seems silly given that it is an outdoor non-gated lot. It is not a good part of town, so don’t plan on walking around at night. As a sidenote, if you are going to be flying out of the Denver international airport, which I’m sure you are if you’re looking at this hotel, the security lines are longer than I have ever seen at any other airport. I would strongly urge everyone to give them self plenty of time."
"Great experience here every time. Had a glass of wine at the bar and ordered chicken tenders for dinner…. Delicious and yes, very tender and served hot! Jessie, the bartender was excellent."
"I had a great experience here, the restaurant and hotel staff were great. The maintenance guy was even available fairly late to fix something in the room...which is the reasoning for the 4/5 on the rooms. The blackout curtains weren't exactly working the best...so I'm not sure why housekeeping decided to keep opening them just to get them hung up again. The machinery in the gym was great! The weights go higher than most hotel gyms so that's definitely a plus."
