"The lobby of this hotel is nice and bright, but if you get a room in the West Tower, it seems old and dark. The hotel had chosen a room for us, and we accepted the app. When we arrived at the hotel and 4:10 p.m., our room wasn't ready, which is always frustrating since they knew we were coming since it was stated in the app, but they had the nerve to say, "you chose a room that isn't ready." They chose the room, and we accepted it early that same morning. They ended up giving us a room in the west tower, but we should've had a room in the East tower. I'm guessing the East Tower is a lot nicer than the West. Overall, the room was acceptable, but I wish we would've been given our assigned original room."

"This past week we made an unexpected trip to Denver with my daughter having an emergency C-section being up all night. We ended up trying to find a hotel that we could check in at 9 o’clock in the morning after being up for 17 hrs. I had mentioned to Sonia Clark who is the assistant GM of my situation and she got me a room right away. No hassle no fuss. When I woke up a few hours later, I found a note under my door, which was a congratulations card on the birth of my grandson, and two tickets for a couple of cocktails in the bar. I was blown away that someone would actually take the time to have the entire staff write on the a card, congratulations and take the time to bring it up to our room. That is customer service at its best. I travel quite a bit and Hilton is the property that I use time and time again and will continue to be a loyal Hilton member! Thank you, Sonia for making us feel extremely welcome and really giving us top-notch service!!!"

"Made a call to book the room. Never got to make it to Denver after loosing signal really Bad. Was charged anyways for a room I never received. Also when called spoke with Indians. I'm tired of that they obviously didn't understand cancel reservations. And I got charged. I want my moneyy back. They have done nothing from booking end to hotel end of a refund. Will never review this place as a good establishment till my refund is in my account. Shady and scams for their own people in the state."

"We stayed here courtesy of the Veterans Administration because my husband had 2 procedures in 2 days at the VA Hospital. The service was wonderful and the rooms clean and comfortable. We decided to have dinner at the restaurant at the hotel which was a much needed treat and were not disappointed. Our server, Josh, went above and beyond to make our dining experience pleasant and memorable. The only downside, which has nothing to do with Double Tree, is that the hotel is so far away from the new VA Hospital. The VA contracts out to help vets with accommodations from out of town."
