"When I checked in, I was told breakfast was available until 10 the next morning. I was not told I’d be expected to pay $22 for a spoonful of eggs and a lukewarm cup of coffee, which was pretty much all that was available when I went down around 9:15. Although I’m usually a fairly good tipper, I didn’t leave a gratuity because the only interaction I had with the staff was when they brought me the bill. When I complained she said I needed to take it up with hotel management. The woman at the front desk was nice, but said I needed to speak to the manager, Francisco Villanueva, who was not available. She gave me his card and I sent an email. Mr. Villanueva never responded. Reading other reviews posted here, I see I'm not the only one who has fallen for the breakfast bait-and-switch. I expected more from Hilton."
"Hotel was nice, clean and a good location. Staff on the other hand was very disappointing. Staff was rude and lied about multiple things. We were told at check in that breakfast was included along with the location, time and details. The following morning we went to breakfast and there was no staff or signs in sight. No one at the hostess stand, only staff in the kitchen cooking. There was loud vulgar music blasting from the kitchen and staff yelling and hollering in the back. Once we had completed eating someone came up to us and said the breakfast was $22.00 per person and not included with our room. We explained to them that we were told breakfast was included at check in and that there were no signs or staff indicating an additional cost anywhere in lobby. Another staff member came out and was very rude and loud stating she told us in "detail" about the breakfast ahead of time and that we owe her for everyone here. A flat out lie that our entire party tried to explain to her. That conversation just turned into more rude comments and lies from the staff member. We also overheard the same conversation with other guests at the hotel. The staff seemed more interested in sitting in the back of the kitchen listening to music than helping guest and customers. We contacted the management staff after and they did not seem to care either. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is expecting decent honest staff and service."
"This is by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The staff here is deplorable! Service is horrendous and they just don't care. You can't make this up but I saw a blind man walk into the bar and was completely ignored. Taking it upon myself to approach the man and ask him what he was hoping to do he replied " I am waiting for a Hostess". I told him good luck and I then proceeded to help the man find a seat and order some food myself with him. There was only one staff member that actually gave any effort at all and his name was Mario but this poor man was working so hard just to keep up with his job because he was all alone with no support from his fellow coworkers. Mario needs to be recognized!!! I do not recommend staying at this hotel and we will not be staying here ever again."
"Parking is $47 a night, unless you're a Hilton rewards member. I ended up parking in a garage connected to the Pavilions for $32 for two nights. My friend and I went to get food and a drink at the downstairs bar before getting ready for our concert. We saw on the light up sign there was happy hour between 3-6pm. The bar tender was on her cell phone on a personal call when we walked up to the bar. There were only 2 other people sitting there. We asked her what the happy hour was, and she said there wasn't a happy hour and that management hasn't updated the signs. She took forever to get us drinks, and we had to flag her down to get our food order put in. My friends food came out 30-40 min later, and mine came out 10 minutes after my friends. The bar tender was rude and slow. So when we finally finished an hour and half later, we had to rush to get ready for our concert. No actual complaints about the room itself, except the pillows are so flat I had to use two of them."
"A pretty good hotel experience. The rooms were good (and notably very clean) with comfy beds. The location is excellent, and is the main reason we picked this location. Definitely skip the hot breakfast unless you like paying $20 for crunchy, cold, dry, questionable food that is lower quality than the average free hotel breakfast. The cold food was alright though, if you don’t mind paying $10 for fruit and yogurt. We had multiple people in our party and booked 3 rooms, and check in went very smoothly. My only room complaint is that the shower curtain didn’t seem to keep water in the tub, so we had to mop the floor with extra towels every time."
