Sonesta Denver Downtown 1450 Glenarm Place, Denver, CO 80202

"I have the pleasure of staying at the Sonesta Denver downtown hotel for four days and three nights while attending the national science teachers association (NSTA) convention. Upon arriving, the outside of the hotel does not look like a regular hotel. It is actually very nice looking. After entering, the entry space is very cosmopolitan and clean. The front desk employees immediately greeted me. Since NSTA reserved the room blocks for a discount, I was not exactly sure what other deals came with the reservations. So I spoke to Chase about inquiring for me to see if breakfast was included. Chase notified me that he would follow up to find out because the individuals who knew were all on lunch. He never followed up with me. However, my experience with two other front desk employees as well as the evening bartender last night was totally different. They went above and beyond to help me out and I really wish that I got their names."

"Great place for the money. Make sure you ASK for maid service because it isn’t assumed you want it. Clean and easy to navigate. Feels like most hotels that have had a modern facelift."

"We had a lovely experience at this hotel. It felt clean and staff was very friendly. Specifically Evan Wright. There was an unexpected water leak and their team held it together to overcome the challenges. I’ve stayed at multiple hotels in downtown and all have been positive experiences. But the staff at this hotel truly made me feel the most welcomed."

"Hotel looks mostly nice but is quite dated. Doesn't look like there's been a proper remodel in a while just a face lift. One of the elevators was out of commission intermittently, the water pressure in the shower was absolute trash (barely enough to wash off the soap) and the hot water kept coming and going. The hvac unit in the room has the sound of a broken locomotive but actually worked well. The bed was comfortable and the staff pleasant. In the morning when people are getting ready you can hear other guests clearly through the walls, not recommended if you want a proper nights rest or a guaranteed shower in the morning but the location is hard to beat. Unfortunately for this particular hotel there are many other lodging options very close by so I hope they improve."

"This is definitely not a 4-star hotel. Rooms are old and falling apart. The shower was awful. No pressure at all. The beds were not too bad. They only reason this is not 2 star is because of the food and the server. Food was decent but server was amazing. I will never stay here again."
