"Place was a dump. Both beds in our room had stains all over the sheets. Our bathroom door came off its hinges. There was a plastic bag over the smoke detectors which I’m pretty sure is illegal. Holes in the wall, drill holes all over the entertainment center, dirt all over the bathroom. Avoid this place. It was disgusting!"
"Company reserved room with credit card. When I checked in they wouldn't take the card on file with out a phone call from person who reserved room. Had to use personal card. Hallway dirty and window blinds at end of hall way half cleaned to show years of dirt. Bathroom mold. Linens stained. Light fixtures broke. Smells. I can't wait to leave in the morning. It doesn't even deserve a 1 rating."
"Check out the posting on back of door of every room which says the room rate is $199/ night: in what universe?? This must be for insurance purpose, bc no one would pay that price for these accommodations. I paid $60 plus tax. I still felt was overpriced… read on. The lobby stinks to high heaven—a sickening smell of weird air freshener to cover other smells. It is gagging. Thank goodness rooms do not have same smell. Front desk staff were “sort of” helpful. I had numerous bags and traveling alone. When I checked in, I asked for luggage dolly or help to get bags to room. Staff said they didn’t know where the luggage dolly was and he wasn’t going to find it for me and wasn’t going to help me (although no other guests waiting to check in at 4pm)but changed my room closer to lobby so I could lug it myself. The room was mostly clean except bathroom, which has black mold (unheard of in dry Colorado!) on walls. Bathroom vent does not work/operate at all. Cold nozzle in shower broken, so could be scalded. Almost was. See pics. Food service/breakfast bar so unsanitary. No hand sanitizer, though they have posted a sign that says to use before helping self to bagels, breads, fruits, etc. No tongs—. Crazy in this age of COVID. No fruit for first two days. Bed is lovely and comfortable. Carpets and floors mostly clean. Room has microwave and mini fridge. Lighting acceptable. Temp control is fine. Safety: Back door access says unavailable after 10pm but door is unsecured/open all night. Room refresh: Currently there is no room service or refresh unless you stay a week, which means no new fresh towels or emptying trash. Environment: is noisy with leaf blowing at 7am this week. Also, there are bits of lumber from dilapidated exterior lying around the property. The exterior is worn and outdated and crumbling. The shrubs and trees are neglected and dying. Safety: the exterior door (not main) which should be locked at night at 10pm (as posted) is not secured. People can come and go at will, whether staying on property or not, and this definitely poses a safety risk to guests.Be forewarned. This hotel recovered —then stole— my pacemaker monitoring device, which was in the form of an Apple phone device. The manager, Tom, said he had it in his private office on his desk, and then it “mysteriously” disappeared. Manager refused to reply to my phone and in-person inquiries. Reported to Lakewood PD. Case pending. Do not recommend staying at this facility for safety, hygiene and many other reasons. LaQuinta franchises their hotels, and their monitoring of required standards appears absent."
"This place is terrible. I wouldn't stay here unless you want stuff stolen out of your room. I made a 2 day reservation I stayed the first night and left in the morning to return to find that my stuff I left in the room was gone and my room was cleaned. I Did not ask for my room room to be cleaned. I went to the front desk and there's no record of my room being Clean. Front desk receptionist was extremely rude wouldn't even say his first name. I called police and made a report, but oh what a perfect place for a scam the room has nocameras pointing towards the room and no record of the room being cleaned so the cop couldn't do much besides make a report. I had well over 2000 dollars of my belongings in there. I'm also temporarily homeless so I left my stuff in the room assuming it woul be safe but obviously not. DO NOT STAY HERE"
"Location is the only redeemable thing about this place. Outside of that, I had to switch rooms twice and was told they could only put me in three rooms. All rooms had stains on sheets and blankets, the bathtubs had mold and mildew, and the common areas and walkways were full of trash. The front desk man told me they are in a transition period with new management and that’s why the facilities are so bad. However, that’s no excuse for uncleanliness. Clean it up or shut the hotel down until it can be accommodated. This place practically stole my money as I paid for 2 nights, but only slept there uncomfortably for one night and the second night thank goodness my brother was able to pick me up so I just took the loss on the second night. I will NEVER stay there again. Is usually would fight for a refund, but I prefer to report this place so they can get it cleansed or condemned. Either would save this property. Worst place I ever stayed!"
