"First time eating at The Purple Cow. My experience was solely based off of Biscuit and Gravy. I am a picky eater, I like gravy that is not made with sausage or bacon. If you’re looking for something with spice there is limited red or green chili dishes. Over all the food was good just your normal menu of a country style meal."
"In Farmington, New Mexico and stumbled on this wonderful restaurant. When you walk inside it feels like an old time diner with an updated shabby chic decor. It's very inviting. We were impressed that it stayed busy with locals the entire time we were there. We were there for breakfast so I ordered the scramble bowl with green Chile and my husband had the smothered breakfast burrito, both were excellent. The Green Chile was perfect. If you drive through Farmington you should definitely give this restaurant a try."
"THE best chicken fried steak!! Biscuits and gravy, breakfast burrito all were fantastic. You can absolutely tell this is all homemade. So yummy thank you!! Best in town hands down"
"This was our 2nd trip here and will probably be the last. The service was good at first but after we got our food we were completely ignored until we stood up to leave. The food was..... okay. My chicken fried steak was cold in the middle, the breading was very thick and burnt so it was like eating burnt grease. My wife's breakfast burrito was 2/3 potatoes and the cheese was not melted. We both wanted to send our food back, but the waitress was to busy chatting with another table. We were never offered drink refills. So we won't go back."
"Wow!!! Fresh, fresh, fresh food that will hit the spot! I had noticed the special for Fri and Sat night is BBQ and fish. And let me tell you this is the fish I have been looking for! The homemade beans are full of flavor and the right amount of spice. I was a fan of everything down to the coleslaw! The staff was friendly and our food was at our table quickly. I am looking forward to another visit soon!!"
