"Went in on a Saturday night, hungry for some good, authentic Italian cooking. Oops. The server was nice but not well prepared to answer any questions. The wine I wanted was not available, same with the sparkling water. The pasta was overcooked and not drained properly, so the meat sauce (grandly advertised as Bolognese, but really just chunks of hamburger with some tomatoes, onions, and garlic), was watery. My dessert was 2 tiny and pretty stale cannoli and an espresso followed by an amaro (which seemed to amuse the bar regulars). All in all, not a welcoming place. The last straw was the small print announcement on the menu, almost an apology, that said that if you didn't pay in cash, they would unfortunately have to charge a 4% fee. When did it become my responsibility as a patron to pay for your credit card processing fees? Last but not least, the helpful tip guide on the check started at 20% and went up from there..."
"Stopped in for the first time last night and our expectations were exceeded in every way possible. The atmosphere reminds me of a quaint Italian kitchen. The food and service were both exceptional! My husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed our date night there and have now found one of our new favorite places to dine. The place is small but in my opinion that only adds to the ambiance of the restaurant. Already looking forward to our next visit!!"
"A worthy place to go! I was VERY happy with portion sizes, because I’ve been to several other Italian restaurants in the area that don’t give you enough to justify calling something an entree. Bread and the glass of wine I ordered were excellent. Small hangup was that the space was a wee bit small, and since it wasn’t full of patrons I didn’t like being put in the middle. (In this instance, baby does want to be put in the corner). My carbonara was well-portioned but slightly less flavorful than I expected. Crème brûlée was good to end the meal. If I’m craving local Italian food and I’m over by this way I’ll keep this lovely lil place in mind!"
"The restaurant has a cozy vibe to it. There is so many choices of Italian dishes to choose from. I would say that there pizza is one of the best on the menu."
"I had this restaurant saved for some time. It seemed more like a nicer restaurant where a nice bottle of wine would be enjoyed. Fortunately, we were in the area that evening and I took advantage of the opportunity. The restaurant is smaller than most. Other than a lady at the bar, we were the only ones there. Hannah took us to a table where we started discussing the menu. I imagined Hannah thought I was going to be high maintenance when I asked if the sausage was flavorful since our last experience at another Italian restaurant was very disappointing. We chose the Caprese Salad as an appetizer and Italian Cavatappi and Vitello Saltimbocca along with a bottle of wine. I was hesitant because one of the last places we went, the sausage had no flavor. Fortunately, the dishes did not disappoint. The marinara was a little thinner than I am used to, but I used the bread to help soak it up and enjoy it. So maybe that was the plan. Dessert came with a Chocolate Mousse Cake and Crème Brûlée. I got the feeling this restaurant had a few regulars, about four tables came in and the gentleman behind the bar seemed to pay extra attention to them. All in all, the service and food did not disappoint and we had a fantastic evening."
