"We moved to Idaho just before completion of my daughter's orthodontic treatment, so we drove to Springs one last time, when her braces were removed and both a clear and acrylic retainer were made same day. My gentle & obedient natured daughter executed instructions for wear with exactness. However, her lower teeth started to go crooked after two months. Our orthodontist in Idaho tweeked her acrylic retainer, but it can't move teeth side to side. Therefore she needs a new spring retainer and possibly a permanent retainer. I contacted Dr Avant's office to request a stop payment on her remaining $300+ balance since the retainers were either done poorly or shouldn't have been done yet at all if her gums were too swollen. Was told no and that even if we brought her in (3 months later!) they would charge $$ for new retainers, though there is no damage to hers. Basically there is no follow up care for poor decisions. I would not have minded transferring her care to Idaho before braces were removed if that was advisable. Will delete this review if payment is stopped."
