"I waited a full 4 months to write this review so I could calm down and speak with some clarity. Do not go here. I was told 12-14 months for Invisalign, my original doctor left the practice, then was replaced, then replaced again, then sent me to an entirely different office. It took about 32 months in total. I would go into appointments and they'd ask ME what we're doing today. I'd get attachments on and off several times (more than 4 times) and each time I went in they would spend 20 minutes telling me about the process assuming it was my first time. It took me over an hour to drive to my appointments and when I would arrive they'd either waste my time acting like I'm brand new and explaining the process to me (again, I should have been done almost 2 years before) or would see me for literally 6 minutes. I called one time to let them know I'd be 4 minutes late to an appointment and they rescheduled me 3 MONTHS later. Then when I went those 3 months later I waited over an hour to be seen, just for the doctor to reintroduce himself to me. By the last doctor (and completely different office) they sent me to, I was so fed up, I finished before I was completely done. I went to go pick up my retainers and the person at the front desk handed them to me. I asked for instructions and they said "wear them at night?" 2 months later I mentioned to my father in law who was a dentist with Invisalign experience that my jaw wasn't aligned properly and he asked about my retainer wear. Told me I should be wearing them way more than at night the first few months and gave me a proper schedule to work with. I started invisalign 3 years before my wedding and was still going through the process after my wedding. I had to go in to get my attachments taken off before my wedding (which the doctor suggested to me since it was taking so long and I didn't want to have them on for photos). When I arrived he said it's not protocol and he doesn't feel comfortable (even though I had previously gone attachment-less at least twice in the previous years, per their direction). Then when I went to pick up my trays for my wedding they forgot to order them. I drove an hour to pick them up 3 days before I drove across the country for my wedding and they gave me a $5 Starbucks gift card for the inconvenience. I would leave the office in tears. Do not go here. Save your money and time. They won't even read this to apologize."
"The practice provided quality care when we joined in Feb 2021. Then, Dr. Duryea took over... Since then, appointments were extremely difficult to get and ortho service left unfinished. We made the mistake of paying in full. Colorado Family Orthodontics used our Delta Dental benefits and now we are stuck paying out of pocket for continued care elsewhere."
"Awful experience. They can't figure out the schedule, the dr is only in the office once a month. Not to mention the treatment plan is a joke. When we started there was a wonderful dr that has since retired."
"This place. They are disorganized, rude, and have very poor communication. I started my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Duryea when he had a practice that was conveniently located near my home. Things were fine, no complaints.. then he moved into this practice… making appointments became impossible. The appointment I made two months in advance for receiving my retainer had to be adjusted the morning of because the person who carries the trays from office to office was sick. Long story, short, it took an additional month and a half and me calling them MULTIPLE times for me to finally get my retainer. I would love to say I’m done with this place but now I have this bill from them that is incorrect. They’ve admitted it’s a clerical error and will be resolved; however, 3 months later and I’m still receiving bills in the mail from them that should not exist and do not know what to do but continue calling them. Avoid the headache and go to any orthodontist besides here."
"This has been the worst medical experience I've ever had. We came to this company because my daughter's orthodontist joined them when she was a year into treatment. If we had not prepaid we would definitely move to another practice. I have had her appointments cancelled by the practice last minute without them calling to reschedule. When I finally get someone on the phone to reschedule, it is often 2-4 weeks before they get her in. When after an adjustment they left a wire poking into her cheek I made an appointment to take her in, only to show up and have the receptionist tell me they had cancelled the appointment and everyone was gone for the day. And these are not even the worst stories. I would never recommend this company."
