"When I first started coming here I was really pleased. However as time went on I became less impressed. Dr. Karlin stated I had a small cavity on one of my teeth that needed to be filled, and as a hygienist I looked at the X-ray and didn’t really agree with her but trusted her. To this day that filing is still a problem. I can feel the material and food and floss get caught. When I went in to get it fixed i waited an hour past my appointment time because they scheduled her too many emergency appointments. I understand things happen, but it’s pretty inconvenient when I’m there longer than expected due to the fact that I have to pay child care by the hour. After my last cleaning my mouth was sore for 3 days, again as a hygienist I know this is not how it should be. Due to this reason I will not be returning. I do think everyone here is super kind."

"Always a wonderful experience! I never have to wait long to get called back and they often get me in early. All the staff is kind, communicate well, shows investment in my care, and efficient. I used to hate going to the dentist and now don’t mind it at all. My Daughter loves going and has had exceptional experiences every time she has gone, even when she had a cavity fixed. My husband regularly schedules his appointments for every six months, this is a first for him at the dentist. I had a minor dental emergency, and they were able to get me in same day and fix the problem! Love, love, love the doctor and this office full of wonderful employees!"

"Family of five been going here for years for cleanings, tooth removal, and fillings. We love the extra care and attention we get. If there is a problem, Dr. Karlin is right on top of it. The staff have always been great with the kids and very patient, we really can't complain."

"What a terrible experience I had with this dental office! It began with walking in & both receptionist didn't even make eye contact with me much less say hello. No one informed me it would be a 2 1/2- 3 hr appointment because they make the crown there. Great but glad I had no other commitments . Had a 9am appointment for a crown with Dr Karlin. Her assistant Marie was wonderful, kind & caring but that's where the niceties began & ended! The Dr finally showed up at almost 10:30! She just about injected the wrong side of my mouth with novacaine, I had to stop her. She kind of laughed & said , "Oh that's right." She was quite harried and disheveled. She spoke to her assistant about another patients abscess and other patients while working on me, unethical & against the hipaa laws! It felt as if I was being worked on in a rush to make up for her tardiness. I was told to just sit & wait for about 40 minutes while the assistant made the crown, ridiculous waste of My time! The crown went in. It fit well but the material is a dull, non glossy substance. When I asked about it the assistant polished it more while in my mouth but it didn't help. After almost 4 hours I said it's fine but it was NOT! It feels terrible & you know how when something in your mouth feels weird your tongue always goes there, yup! As I checked out I told assistant Marie I would not be back. I could tell she felt bad & she is the only reason I gave 2 stars! That was my first & only experience with this office & dentist! Ugh!"

"I had been seeing the same dental practice for much of my adult life and as insurance coverage changed I started looking for a dental office nearer my home that was covered by my insurance. I am very pleased that I chose Dakota Ridge Dental. I have been seeing them for nearly 2 years now and The entire staff makes me feel welcome from checkin to cleanings to seeing Dr. Karlin as needed.
