"I couldn't be happier with my entire experience with Dr. Andrea Schmidt and her team at Aesthetic Dentistry! She did an absolutely perfect job on my crown. Dr. Schmidt is kind, thorough and knowledgable. She's a wonderful dentist and I'm so glad I found her!"
"I have nothing but the highest praise for Dr Schmidt and her office. I had an incident happen last Saturday where my front central tooth broke off , her office was closed for the day due to bad weather conditions.I called as an emergency and she met me in her office later that afternoon. She repaired my tooth beautifully. You definitely know that she cares about you! I highly recommend Dr Schmidt!!!!"
"Dr. Andrea Schmidt was such a pleasure to work with. I worked with her at sage dental before I moved out of the state. She was very straight forward but very understanding about my concerns questions. I have some spaces in my teeth and she made me feel very comfortable with everything. Thank you Andrea! Since moving to another state I am on my next dental adventure and happy with my results from working with you."
"Had a great experience with Dr. Schmidt. I have had a lot of dental work done and trust me, I know a good dentist when I find one. I moved to Boulder a couple years ago and was happy to finally find Dr. Schmidt. I had a particularly tough issue with a tooth another dentist had taken the amalgam ("silver") filling out of. I ended up getting a root canal (of course) on the tooth, but I continued to just have a white filling over it. When I went in for my 6 month exam and Dr. Schmidt saw the tooth, she had said I would need a crown. Of course, I didn't want another crown. So I blew it off and went to Spain for 3 months. Three months later, at my next eval., Dr. Schmidt again said I would need a crown. I had noticed the tooth seemed weak and just didn't feel right with just the filling. Anyway, I finally went and got the crown and Dr. Schmidt was right. It feels stable, we saved the tooth, and the crown looks great. I love here office staff too. 5 starts and highly recommend. Big smiles to Dr. Schmidt."
"Dr. Schmidt recently bought this dental practice from Dr. Christopher Chamberlin, who was my dentist for many years. My experience with this new practice was terrible. I broke a crown and was able to get an appointment a couple days later. I expected I was getting the crown process started that day but learned that this was actually just an exam. I would not have talked 4 Advil before the appointment if I had been told I would only be there for an exam. (I have to take Advil or my jaw hurts from being open a long time). The dental assistant was examining my mouth with her mask below her nose, breathing into my mouth during a pandemic! I asked her to adjust her mask and she did, but I was surprised she wasn’t using a face shield for my protection and hers. Dr. Schmidt also did not use a face shield. I booked my next appointment. Later, I was emailed a feedback form from her office and I let them know what I experienced (above). I expressed concern about safety practices and communication issues and that I wasn’t sure if I would be coming back. No one called me to follow up on the feedback and attempt to make things right. Today, I showed up for my appointment and learned that it had been canceled. The manager said that because of my feedback, they assumed I didn’t want to come back so they took me off the books. No one ever called to tell me this. The manager denied any wrongdoing and said I should have called them if I wasn’t happy. I reminded her that THEY sent me a feedback form, I filled it out so I DID communicate my concerns. I asked why no one called to discuss this with me and she couldn’t answer me. I told her I was appalled at how she was handling this, that if any of my clients ever expressed displeasure with MY work, that I would bend over backwards to make it right. The manager said, “Well, I guess you just always want to be right then, okay, then you’re right and we think you would be happier at another practice”. I am stunned at the lack of professionalism at the office of Dr. Andrea Schmidt. The office manager needs some serious customer service training, starting with NEVER tell a paying customer they are wrong. NEVER be rude and condescending. NEVER ignore reviews and write off patients so they can go “be happier elsewhere”. Do whatever it takes to repair what has been damaged and be humble enough to consider that MAYBE you made a mistake. My entire family will be taking our business elsewhere, as requested. As for my broken crown (under warranty), I guess Dr. Schmidt got away with not having to fix my crown for free and I’ll have to pay another dentist to repair it. So, I’m out another $1000+ but at least I’ll be taking my business to a practice that will treat me with respect."
