"This place is very convenient for me and we have loved ordering it. My wife always gets the chicken satay. Last time there was the tiniest bit of peanut sauce. So I wanted to order extra this time and it wasn’t an option on the menu. So when I came in and was paying I asked the person at the front for an additional peanut sauce. No problem they say. Ring me up- I pay my $80 and then the manager comes up and says ‘extra sauce is $4. I said ‘oh- I wasn’t told that and I already checked out. Last time there was hardly any sauce which is why we were needing more.’ The manager says ‘$4. I have to ring you up if you want it.’ In a condescending and slightly aggressive manor. I inquired why I wasn’t told that before I paid so I could add it on. No response. Ok- I guess I’ll skip the extra sauce. But then we get home and THIS is the amount of peanut sauce provided for the 4 chicken satay skewers. Which were $17. I don’t mind paying a lot of nice food. At all. But honestly the experience and how rude the manager was and then the tiny amount of sauce. Do not recommend."
"Busaba Thai at the Erie location exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambience set the tone for a delightful dining experience. The staff's exceptional customer service further enhanced the evening, making me feel truly welcomed. The attentiveness of the waiting staff at Busaba Thai was remarkable. They were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also eager to assist in making selections. Their genuine enthusiasm added a personal touch to the dining experience. As for the ambience, the tasteful decor and soothing atmosphere created a perfect backdrop for a relaxed evening. The restaurant struck a balance between modern elegance and traditional Thai charm, making it a visually pleasing space to enjoy a meal. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. The shrimp curry I ordered was a masterpiece. The flavors were a perfect symphony of spices, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident with every bite. It was a culinary journey that left my taste buds singing praises. Busaba Thai at Erie location has successfully combined excellent customer service, a charming ambience, and delicious food to create a dining experience that is nothing short of exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable Thai culinary adventure."
"I'm a huge fan of the Busaba in Louisville so I was super excited to hear of the Erie location opening up. I love the ambiance and it's perfect for date night! Bathrooms were spotless and the food was just okay…the menu was also a bit limited and didn't exactly mirror everything that is being offered in Louisville and the service wasn't as great either. I wanted to order my usual summer rolls, mushroom tom yum soup, and jasmine iced tea and none of them were available. Although I was promptly seated by the hostess; my waitress wasn't the friendliest and made everything seem like a chore…even questions I had which made it a little awkward throughout the entire evening. I probably won't go out of my way, but will stop by for lunch one of these days. If I had to rate all locations the Louisville would be on top, followed by Erie, and last in line would be the Boulder location."
"Busaba has delicious Thai cuisine. However our last 2 visits disappointed: service felt very rushed. They were out of vegetable spring rolls at 6:30 pm The chicken satay appetizer we ordered would have been terrific had it not been cold in the center. We barely received our appetizer when our main courses came out. Servers were rushing around like they were overworked, which did not allow us to feel relaxed. Servers also should introduce themselves & offer a second round of drinks. My boyfriend ordered a beer that was to have been on tap but came in a can."
"Woohoo!! The Busaba opened in Erie! We’ve been going to the Louisville one since they opened years ago and love it, but we live in Erie. So glad they opened one here! Went today and the server Toby was so polite and attentive. He had such a positive attitude that it made our day. Would highly highly recommend Busaba. Definitely some of the best Thai food we’ve had, and we’ve been to Thailand itself a LOT!"
