"To preface: maybe we should have gotten wings since this place is a wing place. But come on, if you say you can make food please make it edible. Safe to say we won’t be back. My beer was warm, my husbands Pepsi was flat and tasted like dirty dish water. They charged the same price for his Pepsi and my three young kids’ sodas: $3.95. Absolutely insane price for three tiny sodas. Then we got our food and somehow things only got worse. My husband got the smothered beef burrito. When I tell you the ground beef could have been spicy dirt…. It was INEDIBLE. My burger was fine (obviously a frozen patty) but not worth the $14.95 I paid. The waitress was so nice but she didn’t get my order right, bringing out sautéed onions on my burger not mushrooms like I asked. but we had already waited so long it didn’t make sense to say anything and have to wait longer, and it didn’t taste bad- just not what I ordered. Two of my kids got the Mac n cheese, didn’t come with a side even thought it was the same price as my other kids grilled cheese that came with fries, not to mention the fact that the Mac n cheese was just a bowl of warmed up Kraft. Which is fine, we’re not picky or uppity about our food, but the price seemed pretty outrageous for such a let down. Positives: the staff was nice, the ambiance was good I can imagine in the summer on the patio it would be really quaint. It was clean. That’s about all I can say for this place….."
"One of the best restaurants in Rifle. Been around a long time to prove it. Basic hometown burger joint, the staff treat you like your a local in an atmosphere of good Ole fishing days. Also promotes other businesses through cards inbedded into the tables. GOOD JOB"
"Hands down the best chicken fried steak I've had in a long time. There is no place in Grand Junction that can make chicken fried steak the right way. These guys truly impressed me. Service was great, food was amazing. I was very impressed."
"I highly recommend that you NEVER go here. Absolutely terrible food and even worse customer service. Burnt, terrible tasting fried mushrooms. The turkey melt and burger were just as bad. It took forever to even take our order. We came here specifically for wings. Ordered our drinks and starter. After that ordered the wings and was told they were out of wings. You would think that a wing place would tell their customers that they are out of wings when they sit you down. We did not finish any of our food. Highly disappointed. When I took my turkey melt apart to just eat the meat, there was paper in it!! We sat with our plates at the end of the table for a good 15 minutes before they even came over to ask if we were done. They brought the check and it took another 15 minutes just to get the card we were paying on back. This is a small bar & grill. There is no reason to be this slow on everything. Little kids running around all over the restaurant including in/out of the kitchen. We will never ever eat here again and will tell everyone to not even bother."
