"Being from the Islands i always love to support Hawaiian restaurants. The food was average the location and restaurant itself was really cool. Prices were expensive vs the amount of food (primarily poke) you get. I paid $33 for this meal and drink, not affordable for a family to dine."
"Having lived in Hawaii over half a decade I always enjoy Hawaiian food on the mainland. Got the Kalua Pork plate, the pork was the star of the plate, just like pork in Hawaii. The Mac salad was good, a little different than what I like but good. The Kale salad thing was good but didn’t belong, I’ve never had Kale salad on a Hawaiian dish. The rice was great too, had some different Furikake I hadn’t seen before. Overall pretty solid, will fill you up, could’ve done without the Kale salad and weird corn salsa would be my only criticism. I’d like to try the poke next time for sure."
"Tried this place out for lunch because of some great reviews but am left severely disappointed. At $16, you get a poke bowl about the size of an adult fist (see image) with absolutely no add ons, just fish and rice. Then an extra $2 for 1/4 of an avocado. The food is fine but really just tastes like soy sauce with the texture of warm raw fish and warm rice. For the combination of size, quality of ingredients, lack of add-ons, and the price, you are much better off going almost anywhere else."
"This was by far the best Hawaiian food I've had coast to coast. The Spam Musibi being $4 is a great grab on the go. The marinated pork was absolutely delicious I couldn't stop eating it, after I had finished my kale salad (I normally don't prefer eating kale) it was very light and had a great flavor from the mango lime ginger dressing. I drank their milk coffee which was perfect, not too sweet nor bitter. Over all a great experience and they are great about sending food out timely from the kitchen. While also selling merch and Kimchi made local."
"The food was incredibly tasty however I really wish the portions were a bit bigger especially for the price. The food was 5 stars along with service and atmosphere but the portion size is what knocked it down to a 4 for me. I got the Hawaiian sliders and the wife got the poke bowl, again everything was tasty just not enough for the price"
