"This was our first time going here as we have been seeking an alternative sushi place to Bamboo that is closer to us in Glendale. We think we found it. Our first impression of the restaurant was good. The ceilings are high with warm yellow lighting and the walls house modern art. The sushi bar is the heart of this establishment, though. We sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed three rolls and some crispy rice. The fish was as fresh as you could hope for, and the presentation and creativity of each dish really wowed us. We loved the use of fresh green ingredients to give life to some of the rolls. We ate crispy spicy tuna, new style salmon roll, firecracker tuna, and crispy bincho rolls. Our chef was extremely kind and checked in with us to help us pick our dishes which he then artfully prepared. Spent $95 total including tip. Even the beer was crisp and cold. We will definitely be back here. 10/10 would recommend and will likely bring guests here in the future."
