"After hearing from friends that this was the best sushi in Denver, I finally made it. Our party of 6 sat at the bar with no problem. I had been nervous about wait times with no reservations but it was almost empty for Saturday lunch at 12:30pm. We ordered several nigiri based on server/bartender recommendation and oh-my-heavens was it divine. My fav was the salmon belly. Also, opted for the sake flight and it was like a little history tour of Japan. Will definitely be back - often."
"I always have an amazing experience going to Temakiden. From the food to the service, everything is top-notch. I love sitting at the sushi bar or one of their tables around the restaurant. Everyone is well-versed on the fish and are able to recommend bites that will satisfy your palate last night. We chose to do the Omakase experience, where we choose whatever price point we want to spend, and they develop a menu around your set price. I will always go back, it is the best sushi spot in Denver! My only sore spot is the parking. The parking lot is small and the parking garage doesn’t validate parking and can get kind of pricey if you’re trying to hang out and enjoy your meal. But it’s worth it in the end."
"The best sushi I've ever had in my life, hands down. Do the Omakase, it's so worth it. Be prepared to spend about $100pp, but you'll get the full experience with the chef's choices. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. Highly recommend going here for a celebratory meal, you won't be disappointed."
"Absolutely incredible. Fair prices for what you’re getting. Everything is above average. Don’t underestimate the eggplant. Ask for recommendations because servers and chefs lead you in the right direction. Also sake flight was delicious. I’ll be back and will recommend to everyone I know!"
"Omikase is the way to go. They just keep bringing an experience that's perfect for two with a crescendo of excellent pieces around 5 dishes in. It comes out to $5-10 per piece per person, but after really stuffing ourselves, we only spent $250 with tip. This would have been at least $700 in any other city. I'd come here for any date or anniversary. Super high quality fish that just melts in your mouth. I loved the low key Wednesday bar side dining. Arrived at 8pm without an issue for a table at the bar."
