"I decided to take my car to this shop nearly 40 miles away since there is not a trusted import shop near me. I scheduled an appointment for a 4 wheel alignment that they said they would be able complete, but when I arrived the tech said they didn't have the software to calibrate systems correctly. I was also initially quoted $600 for rear brake replacement over the phone only to get an estimate on paper for over $1000. Receptionist was very nice, but didn't seem to have adequate knowledge when discussing my vehicle. Would have been more helpful to verify quotes and scope of work before I drove to appointment for nothing."
"55 days and didn't complete what I asked and 0 call backs after promising to 4 or 5 times. They also managed to break my powered mirror by somehow ripping the mirror from the electronics. When I brought the car in, I specifically asked for 3 things. 1: install lower dashboard. 2: rotate tires as specified. 3: drop transmission to change real main seal and so I could inspect the clutch and clutch fork. Instead of the rotation, they tried sell me new tires, citing "unsafe tread". We walked out there together and saw the tread was clearly above wear lines. Please note, my car has about 1.5° of negative camber on it, so the inside and outside of the tires wear independently, thus the special rotation I asked for. For some reason, they were diagnosing my clutch hydrolics and it sounded like trying to install new parts. I didn't ask for that. I already knew something was up with the clutch fork (and told them about it) not the hydrolics and I needed a new rear main seal anyway. So, I simply wanted the transmission dropped to so I could see what's going on. I have done this myself in the past and it's less than a 4hr job on jack stands with hand tools, not sure why it was too much for them to handle. Over the 55 days, I called in every week to ask for an update usually hearing some excuse about some difficulty or during the first month they hadn't started on it yet. At that point I had enough, so I came in and asked them to stop work and I'll take it home where I'll do it myself. To their credit, they did install the lower dashboard and were polite when talking with me. Overall I was very dissatisfied and won't be a returning customer. If they'd like to call back for once and reimburse for a junkyard mirror I'll be happy to update my review."
