"They took good care of my car the day of, however I don't think they properly topped of my fluid when I initially bought the car. I shouldn't have needed a full service in only a few months. Granted it was free, but you'd imagine these things would have been done prior to my purchase. Still overall a good experience"
"Service advisor was friendly. I made an appointment with hopes of getting in and out quicker but still had to wait 2 hours for a basic oil change. However, that was exactly what the service advisor quoted me when we got there. Wish it was quicker. Seemed a bit expensive for a basic oil change but overall, not a bad experience."
"I bought a used 2016 Chevy Colorado on January 24th. The truck was dirty and had a few issues but nothing I would consider major and, after all, it's a used vehicle. The windshield was cracked and some of the body trim was missing and the salesman assured me the windshield would be replaced and the trim parts ordered. While driving home I noticed the truck pulled hard to the left so I contacted the salesman and he said he would add that to the "we owe you list". Once home my wife who had followed me home said all the taillights didn't work. I had to replace 3 of the 4 taillight bulbs. After scheduling the window replacement I asked the salesman if we could schedule the alignment at the same time since we live 70 miles away and he said he would talk to the service manager. While at the dealership for the windshield I went to the service department and found out they didn't know about an alignment but graciously arranged to do it after the windshield. I then went to the parts department where they told me they stock the trim parts so no ordering was needed. I was able to take care of these things myself. The thing that concerns me is the paperwork given to me on day one states that the truck was inspected and detailed prior to putting it up for sale. If the truck was inspected how could they not notice the taillights and it was not detailed as stated until after the sale. If those items where missed or not done I'm concerned about the rest of items they said were done. I suggest that anyone considering buying a used vehicle here or most any dealership to take along a mechanic or someone knowledgeable to help you avoid any issues like this."
"Auto Nation Chevrolet North is a shady dealership. I was trading in my car to purchase a used raptor. They assured me that any safety issues are always addressed before the sale, however I always bring higher mileage vehicles to my mechanic. In this case it was fortunate I had. They were knowingly selling a vehicle with a bad rack and pinion ($3500), cracked bushings along the suspension components ($300), worn tie rods ($900), leaking transfer case ($500) and a host of other little problems (spark plugs etc). All told my mechanic said they should never have sold the vehicle in this condition, as it wasn’t safe for the road. I called them to see if they were willing to do anything to cover. First they offered me $500… I pressed the issue. In the end the most they offered was $1200, and they wouldn’t even attempt to fix the issues. Ultimately I brought the vehicle back and it ended up costing me $500 because my mechanic had already fixed the transfer case leak, and they wouldn’t reimburse me. The reason? They said they did $1300 to my car including a detail in and out and oil change and filter change. However they hadn’t done any of those things (the air filter was the one I had put in a few months back). My car hadn’t even been vacuumed or gone through a car wash. TL;DR: Watch out, their sales team will lie to get a sale, and their service department won’t actually do the work they claim to have done."
"Had a hell of a time with the vehicle we purchased here. Had it for a month or so until it started having major problems (found out later, the engine issues were a part of a lawsuit years prior with GMC). But thankfully with the warranty we were able to get the car back up and running. Especially with the awesome help we got from Ryan McCray on the car service side. He communicated with us from the start, making sure we knew all the details and what was being serviced. Huge thanks to him and the mechanics who got us our new engine and back on the road."
