"I took a date here for a first time date for Chicago style pizza. I must say. I was highly impressed. We arrived on a sleepy Wednesday night. There were only a couple people around and we were seated quickly. The aroma of the pizza let us know we were in for a treat. We were greeted with a quick overview of the places brief history and that the owner was actually from Chicago. That further let us know it was going to be amazing. The owner (John)came to our table and introduced hisself. He was extremely cool and let us know that he was churning ice cream upstairs and offered us a sample. We had the red velvet cheesecake and it was AMAZING!! The pizza was as good as expected. Will definitely be back to this spot very soon. I will want to explore all the nights where things are going on. Fun Fact: I believe its open at 2 on weekends. The staff are extremely pleasant. Specifically Chelsea. She was awesome. Update: Went a second time and met wife Jandy. She is just as cool as Jon. This spot will be good for a LONG time"

"I was really in the mood for pizza and as a fairly newish transplant from Chicago it's been a challenge to find good pizza in Denver. After reading up on this place I decided to give them a go. This pizza is barely mediocre. It looks like a tavern cut Chicago pie, but that is where the similarity ends. The sauce was the sweetest pizza sauce I have ever had. The crust wasn't crispy at all and had a more chewy texture rather than that cracker thin crunchy crust you get back home. All in all if you are a former Chicagoan this place will not scratch that itch. If you're not then you'll probably find this to be a decent pizza."
