"Wawaweewa!!! This place was amazing! APPS: Brussels Sprouts- 10/10 Coney Knots- 9/10 (only due to the side chilli being chilly and just ok flavor) PIZZA: Brick & Morty- 11/10 High Five-Oh- 9.5/10 BEVERAGES: Pumpkin Espresso Martini- 8.5/10 Godfather- 8/10 We went for our 11 month-aversary! The staff was wonderful beginning to end. The food came out quick. The ambiance was slightly elevated classic pizza shop vibes. Comfortable and clean spot. Highly recommend. We can't wait to go back with a table full of homies!"
"I had a decent time eating at this establishment. And I would give it five stars, but no restaurant that adds an automatic gratuity deserves five stars. They add 20% to the bill in the end. While the menu does outline this, I find it disappointing that this is needed, just charge more for the food and pay your Cooks adequately. I had the pasta dish with garlic, parmesan sauce and sauteed shrimp, it was quite delicious. The staff were nice as well, I believe there was a party happening upstairs so the noise level was at a 9 out of 10. Making it impossible to hold a conversation with the person you're sitting across from. This place could seriously benefit from a few sound dampening panels on the ceiling as it's an echo chamber right now. Unless things change, I probably won't be returning any time soon."
"This is quite possibly the best pizza I have ever had, and my wife said the same thing. Two of our three kids said it was without question their favorite pizza of all time. It's easily the best Detroit style pizza I've had, and it beats all other deep dish pizza I've had. Their classic Red Tops pizza, as well as the veggie supreme we're both excellent, but it was the mushroom pizza with Bleu cheese that really blew us away. In addition to the amazing pizza we also really enjoyed the brussel sprouts and Caesar salad. The fried cheese curds were a nice addition to the Caesar. Not only was the food excellent but the service was also amazing. Every single person who came to our table was genuinely friendly and we never waited long for anything. We also really enjoyed the ambiance of the place. It was such a cool pizzeria and due to the weather being so nice they had the garage doors open on the street side. If you're in the mood for an outstanding pizza meal you have to check this place out. We will definitely be back next time we're in Denver!"
"Lunch review during Restaurant Week. Our first trip to this place, and it blew us away. The bar area was bigger than I expected, and then I found another bar on the second floor. Very spacious place. Christian was our bartender, and we received flawless service both through efficiency and personality. And, he is a Founding Father of the place. They have a wide range of beers, cocktails, wines, and even bottles of wine. There are a good amount of TV's if you want to go there for a sporting event. And, the upstairs area has a separate event area for reservations, along with an outdoor patio. The meatball appetizer tasted classic, but also homemade. The Calabrian Sweet Heat wings were big and tasty, and we look forward to trying the other flavors. Ranch and Bleu cheese sides were delicious. Wife's Caesar salad was solid, although, for me, my Pizza salad was better (actually one of my favorite salads in quite a while). She had the signature cheese and it was simple, yet unique somehow. The Six Mile one with meat was awesome, and I suggest asking for the Italian hot sauce also. Everything was a big serving, so be aware. Only negative is not really a negative, but need to mention. The ownership group for this place and Ashkara, Senor Bear, Fox and the Hen, etc. believe in the automatic 20% gratuity. I get it, but still not the biggest fan of that percentage being automatic. Red Tops has been around since July of last year, and although we are mad we didn't discover it earlier, we won't forget it now. Oh, there is construction where it is intuitive to enter. Don't let that stop you from driving around the block-worth it! Oh, one MORE thing. Apparently, they are starting brunch the weekend of March 16th and 17th. Wife and I are big brunch people, so that will definitely be a start of several weekend days moving forward. Definitely recommend, and see you there."
"I've been loving the Detroit style pizza trend and this spot is no exception. My husband and I shared: - Coney Knots - Cheesy Bread - Millions of Peaches - The Six Mile High I enjoyed it all, but the Six Mile High was my favorite of them all. I also loved the cheesy bread. Their crust is perfect. It's crispy and cheesy—everything Detroit style pizza should be."
