"Very clean, comparatively affordable, bilingual. Nancy is friendly. Major concerns: swaddles infants well after they are rolling, even after crawling age. Swaddled tightly for naps and put loose blankets over babies’ heads so only their faces were uncovered. Babies sweaty after nap time. Infant fed by propping a bottle up with a piled up heavy blanket, alone in the room. Potty training starts on child’s 1st birthday, children sit on potties in the hallway for long periods. Other issues: the infants were always buckled into chairs in front of the TV. I signed paperwork that said I didn’t want TV time for my infant. Kids were usually sitting in front of the TV and alone in the room when I picked up my baby. Nancy didn’t know my baby was rolling 2 months after baby started rolling, despite listing 2 hours of tummy time as part of the schedule. Clothes: changed clothes every day, (tons of laundry) talked to me about what outfits to send, told me what colors and what clothes to buy my baby, gave me clothes that “are cuter” than the clothes I sent. In 5 days of daycare, Nancy talked to me 9 times about clothes but only 1 time about food/diapers. Texted 4 times telling me what Christmas outfit to send, asked to have it 3 weeks in advance. Finally, charges full price for the 2 weeks she was closed and not accepting any children."

"This center was previously run as Iowa Hugs and Kisses Daycare LLC and had their license suspended. One report on the DHS daycare website stated that a child had marks on their knees consistent with being hit though staff claimed the child kept falling to their knees. Another report stated a baby had bruises and staff said the child was walking with a walker fell off the deck. Beware."
