"Hadn’t been here in a few years. Dropped off a pair of my wife’s shoes to replace the heel ends. The front door has a hodgepodge of handwritten signs telling the hours and, inside was like a college dorm room after a wild party. I explained what needed repaired and was given a receipt and told “I’ll call you when they are done” no timeframe given until pressed and was told a week or two. I waited a month and still nothing. I stopped in to the store with receipt in hand and before I uttered a word, the owner said, I’ll call you when they’re done. I said it’s been a month, I’ll just take the shoes. He had trouble finding them and when he did, he said give me 30 minutes. No thanks, took the shoes and won’t be back."
"Did an outstanding repair for a very reasonable price. I would definitely use his service again."
"My initial meeting of owner Jamie was 10/2/23 when I went there with a friend who had been happy with her previous repairs. He did repairs on my purse and I was very happy with the results. I shall definitely return should the need arise"
"If you’re looking for a warm and fuzzy experience, this is not the place for you. The cobbler is extremely busy as he is the only person running the shop. I was taken back by his dry demeanor too then realized that he was drowning in shoes and customer service was probably at the tail end of his concerns. On our second interaction He shared with me that cobblers are a dying breed as not many can appreciate the work that goes into fixing shoes. The shoes in the pictures are Johnston and Murphy’s which I bought at men’s warehouse for over $100 a few years ago, he charged me $75 per pair. At first I thought his price was high but when I got my shoes back I could justify the expense because they look brand new. If you need your shoes fixed, this guy will do just that, no fills or thrills and his price will be fair compared to his work. The cobbler seems to be a pretty old school, busy, no BS type of guy. I would take my shoes back to him for repair and I would recommend him."
"I came to bring some brand new heels to be altered. The owner of whoever the person is at the shop was extremely rude and was very rough with my heels. I stated I needed them by Friday the 21st. I came and the shop is closed until further notice. I was not given a call or notice and I really needed the shoes. Im extremely upset. Will never come back and don't recommend. I never write reviews unless necessary but this is completely unacceptable. I hope I get my brand new shoes back that are expensive. If anyone knows how to contact someone to give me my shoes back that would be great"
